Yeah you would think it would be the sort of thing they’d be trumpeting loudly rather than completely failing to mention. Otoh, i’ve noticed over the years that devs often seem not to want to be very specific and open about exactly what they’ve changed in games when they release updates -...
Given the length of time it takes for all the tables to be released, you could probably keep your money in the bank and buy the individual table as they are released...and make money on the interest accrued! Lol...
I think what you're actually doing is implying that any of us who expresses a (really perfectly valid) criticism of the way Farsight has done things in the past is just being a whiner and should really just shut the heck up and enjoy the "blessing" we've been given (which we all paid for of...
1. The ones I bought are on PS3 so if I want them on PS4 I have to buy them again anyway. Prior to TPA I also had the Williams Collection so I had bought some of them even before that. People buy newer/better versions of stuff they already have. However, reading the PS4 board leaves me...
Sadly Farsight’s development model for TPA has been pretty much broken right from day one. It almost feels like none of the tables is actually finished. At this point, I wish they’d pick the 20 or so best tables in the collection, fix all the bugs and update the physics model to a unified and...
I assume none of these fixes will be making their way to the large collection of tables I've purchased on the PS3 so I'm not all that excited. It's too bad though since quite a few of these improvements were things that needed fixing even before the PS4 and PC versions existed.
I'm just talking about this thread specifically. Bashing that may or may not have occurred in other places is another thing. I just don't see anything in this thread that could be called bashing and I'm not sure why stuff that happened elsewhere is being referenced...
I don't hate it. I have most of the tables on PS3. Not planning on buying more. I just think the product could be better. Personally, I'd be happy with a third fewer tables that were all 30% better modelled...a more dynamic physics engine would make the tables so much more fun.
