I recall a long time ago, perhaps even back in the Farsight days, that there was interest in re-creating the Rollergames pinball table but they had absolutely no idea who owned the licence to pursue it. The crumb trail was so barren that they even pondered doing it without authorisation as it...
Can anybody confirm if Zen have acknowledged how broken the coins are in the enhanced graphics for Creature, for the upper playfield rollover lanes? In portrait, they're actually covering the tables real light indicators and to make matters worse, the coins seem broken and do not move quickly...
Here's their Twitch stream of the new tables, if anybody wants a sneak peek.
I'm pretty certain I saw them respond to a Facebook comment with that information.
Something I've posted about somewhere before but it's not in the master list.
The Getaway
Revving the car engine (with the flipper) aggresively when the ball is deployed into the plunger lane at the start of the game very commonly results in the music stopping. (Steam)
Here's a video I recorded of The Getaway ages ago. Notice how high pitch the 'Extra Ball is Lit' ringer is compared to the real thing? Is this perhaps all part of the same issue ?

Thanks. That's good to know and I did expect the real table would have some fail safes, however my reference to magic physics on the Zen iteration is that the ball stopped dead at the bottom and then after a few moments of being completely static shot back up and out of the ramp hole. It didn't...
Really impressed by this pack, particularly Hurricane and Road Show. Lots of fun.
Here are some somewhat random very early impressions and a couple critiques:
Road Show
I don't know what it sounds like in real life but the shaker motor sound is absolutely awesome;
The skill shot is brutal...
Here's mine on a 16:9 monitor on view 1. Presumably yours is the same as this?

Does anybody have a 16:10 vertical screenshot that they can share? I never even thought about the implications of this.
Props to Zen for making the tables retain your enhancement/original display preference too. No more tapping 'B' every time I start a classic game to get the enhancements turned on. Hopefully this will be retro fitted to the other tables, as I just tried Fish Tales and it still resets there...
I really like the enhancements in ToM generally but the near invisible balls in Tiger Saw multiball are not welcome. I've got nothing against adding a cool effect, like the petrol-esque captive balls or the purple glow but 'invisible' - why?
Hello,
It's been a while so perhaps I'm forgetting something very obvious. How do you use the magnetic save feature near the outlanes of Theatre of Magic?
I'm not seeing it referenced in the controls and none of the buttons seem to activate it. Perhaps you need to earn it and I'm forgetting...
Fish Tales Music Cut Out
I started feeding frenzy, caught another fish and cashed the tale in by hitting the spinner (and then the ball entered the fish finder hole - but fish finder wasn't active). When the ball ejected, the game played the 'you just drained the ball' music cue and the feeding...
The outrage and boycotting notion proposed by some is a little much but without this vocal minority would we have got non-family mode versions on Steam? I am therefore thankful for their efforts.
Zen also need to understand that this may be wider than they seem initially aware. I bought the...
I think it's the table playing music, flashing lights or otherwise calling out to attract passers-by. It only activates after you've played a game, apparently.
It's off by default but you can turn it on in the options.
The middle pop-bumper in Fish Tales seems to lack audio commonly when bouncing the ball between the bumper and wall on the lower right side.
Edit: This is not isolated to this pop bumper. The pop bumper sound is missing anytime the ball is bounced very rapidly between a bumper and a wall/piece...
