Give the user full control of the flippers in the launch view, so that the user can access the ROM easter eggs if they so choose, but also that if/when the multiball etc bugs pops up and the view is forced to the plunger the user still has some chance to salvage the game. On AFM when this happens you can continue to flip the left flipper, on ST:TNG you have control of both, etc.
The pre launch selection menu that ST:TNG and HD have was slightly crippled due to the launch button being tied to the flipper button making changing the selection much more difficult and only possible with the left button; even that would cause launches on occasion.
Then there is the ever complained about in game launch, or magna save etc buttons. Why is the pressing of these buttons tied to the flippers. Pressing the launch button in MM, MB or AFM for the in game feature activates the R Flipper as well. Does that have an effect on the ability or possibility to make it transparent or user definable or any of the other request that get made?
Is this something that anyone else has noticed that they can't do, but on one table?
