Edit: Downloading now. Update says that some 8-bitty mappings have been fixed, FT cameras adjusted and audio from other apps is allowed while playing! Finally can listen to podcasts while playing!!!

Been playing Black Rose on Steam the past week and I gotta say this is my favorite TPA table since I dunno when. Whirlwind maybe.

So what exactly is/was the change made to the app regarding the Season 3 issue which caused the one week delay? I didn't purchase Season 3 (and likely won't be) but did purchase the Black Rose table.

The Season 3 Pack/Pro Pack are no longer available to purchase on iOS and Mac...at least until all Season 3 tables have been released.

While Farsight is not to blame on this one - it's clearly apples new policy regarding pre-purchases - I don't like one part of the official statement on their Facebook page:

"Even though we offered Season Passes at the beginning of [a] each season in the past,...."

As we know that's simply not true. They started offering them sometime during Season 2. So the first time you could pre-purchase a whole season was Season 3.

The graphics are of good quality on this one, and I am not sure if this is too early to say, but it seems that FarSight is finally keeping consistency this season, the one table a month is paying off. After some playing rounds it looks like a fun table. I am more of the (early) 80's tables without all the DMD distraction and the terrible jolly music tunes to be honest.
But so far so good, it's an excellent table release and an excuse to wear an eyepatch with a parrot on me shoulder while playing this table.

I'm a bit disappointed after all the gnashing of teeth in the "Apple won't let me play pinball!" thread that I woke up this morning, read a post in Facebook from Farsight saying everything was groovy, downloaded the update, found the new table in "My Tables," downloaded it and played it without any issues.

You'd think something could go wrong and justify another 80-post thread, but instead all I got was a week-long delay behind other platforms. No arguing for a refund, picketing or lawsuits. So sad...

Excellent table and very challenging. I had no issues with my S3 pass after all my worrying it downloaded without a hitch.
I have got to learn to have more patience because I came very close to getting a refund from Apple the other day. A lot of wasted negative energy for a week delay was absolutely ridiculous on my part I have to admit. Ahoy Matey's!
