Hi TPA fans! This is my first official post and greetings here as I didn't know TPA had it's own forums. I'm looking forward to have some awesome pinball discussions and meeting new pinball fans as well. :)

My favorite table has to be Black Hole for both digital and physical and I should be owning my own physical machine here in the next month or so (whenever the guy tells me it's finished honestly). There was a huge stint from my childhood until now that I didn't play pinball and I have no idea why.. within a few months I had the full addiction and I honestly owe it to Zen Pinball and The Pinball Arcade as well as Twin Galaxies.

Over the past few months I've been trying to get high records for any PS4 pinball table I can and though I have a few top 500 I only have one table that has made it into the top 50 (with only two console players ahead of me). I'm a member of Twin Galaxies so I'm always recording my videos of my pinball plays so that when real records are made I will always have proof. This goes especially for Black Hole which I recently achieved over 18 million on. Below you'll find the video and keep in mind it's a little over an hour long and has profanity. I wish I knew why I can go from great runs maxing out the lower playing field to losing it all in like 3 minutes but that's what makes pinball so fun (and frustrating!). I doubt this is the highest recorded score here but I was wondering if there was one, I'd like to look at their strategy as well as my own to better myself even further to take the top spot (if it's even possible). Thanks for taking the time to read this. :)

Welcome! Every TPA table has its own forum, and you can check out Black Hole's at
http://digitalpinballfans.com/forumdisplay.php/5-Black-Hole-(1981)

The top thread is the one on strategy, if you're interested.

I'll note that apparently the BH leaderboard on PSN doesn't match the one for other platforms, so you may want to look at the leaderboards on the web at http://www.pinballarcade.com/Leaderboards/ .

And I'll also note that BH's leaderboard has many scores which I believe to be by hackers or glitches, which unfortunately have yet to be removed.

18 million is a great score on BH, good luck with your leaderboard quests! :)

Hoorah! I'm number 4 on the PSN leaderboard (my PSN is mutilations). I just have to beat Slydogg's 28mil score which will take some time but it is totally doable. Thanks for the welcomes! I am definitely glad to be here.

Welcome. That's a great score. With some of the wizard goals still giving me a hard time, I've been working on beefing up my scores. On Black Hole, I seem to get 99% of my score on one ball, draining the other two rapidly. It's kind of funny how I can score 1M+ on one ball and 10,000 pts on the other two LOL!

Keep on working on your scores, and good luck!

Hi desidiois! For me, the forums started with reporting bugs. Then realized people were very helpful here. Since then, pretty much every bug has been reported. Then checked out the strategy threads. There's some very interesting stuff there. Nowadays I know of some cool people here, but most probably see me as a clown. Gotta lay off that sauce! But yeah, we are all very much into TPA. And it's great to see people come together over the same interest. I didn't pluralize that because all I play is TPA. As far as leaderboards, I'm not even sure what I have that's good, maybe my 293mil on victory. But with that repeatable extra ball, it's not that much of an accomplishment

As long as you stay positive then I don't care how much of a clown you are. The world needs more laughter. I'm a very serious yet lighthearted person and I can thank bartending at the right place for my attitude.

I'm an avid collector of consoles and games so I can't just focus on TPA but I'm such a big fan of pinball I can't stay away. Of course, my Fallout 4 addiction is trumping everything right now. lol
