Bug Description: Challenge mode does not advance after playing the first table. Instead the UI (except the DMD) drops out, leaving the table in attract mode limbo until you restart the app. Challenge Mode progress is not recorded.

Haha, those dudes literally ran off with $15m+ in venture cap. I'm in the wrong business.
Although these guys actually somehow managed to push out a shipping product so I guess they weren't a complete fraud.
It's a bit bugged right now I think -- if I'm freshly launching TPA I have to go to Challenges, then back to the main screen and back to Challenges before it wakes up and realizes I have one in progress.
I'm about halfway through the Williams one now and working through slowly as I've been...
I lost because I couldn't scrape together 14M on Medieval Madness in three freaking tries... Man I'm off my game.
I take it this may be a way to trial out a new tournament structure? I like the concept.
The new "Challenges" thing wants you to play 5-10 different tables in one sitting, up to 3 times each, and apparently doesn't save if the app gets pushed out of memory. Not bloody likely!
(E: Okay, looks like it did save. Didn't seem like it was before. Weird.)
I just want the instrument really. That same metallic FM Synthesis you hear in Taxi, Pinbot and the other System 11 games. Pretty sure it's used in a lot of Sega games too.
Kinda see what you mean here... the lower level is just too dangerous to do anything but kick it back to the upper level so I'm stuck just doing loops over and over with an occasional lucky ball lock.
Makes me feel like it's Saturday morning and I'm having a bowl of Cap'n Crunch watching whatever comes on after the Pac-Man cartoon.
I'm trying to figure out how to synthesize that sound on my iPad. There's a YM2151 emulation app but it's $35 and hasn't been updated in over a year so I don't...
I still can't figure out what exactly happened here. There are other apps on Apple's App Store (Zaccaria comes to mind) with a "Buy all future updates" IAP, and even ones that do season passes like TPA does (Telltale's adventure games for instance). The fact that it's basically a limited-term...
Pair it with a pinfinder-like deal to find a nearby physical table and you're good to go.
Also pump Steve Richie full of coke and let him design a TPA table already.
