I've been playing pinball since the late 60's, but didn't really get any good till about 1972 or so. I had to get good since my parents only gave a limited amount of quarters while they were bowling. I've played in a few large tournaments in my day most notably The Wild West Pinball Fests in the early 90's. I never quite made the finals mostly due to the appearance of Rick Stetta and his entourage. While Rick was a little odd, a really great guy to B.S. with. Kind of gave up playing actual machines about 10 years ago either because it got harder to find good functional ones or they were those crappy Stern machines that to this day fail to amuse or entertain.
