    Cross platform or not, something went soooo wrong with this one. It is a slide show. Very bizarre that they managed to botch it that bad. It doesn't even look that great. AFM looks better and runs well. I'm really pretty shocked they released it in this state.

    How do you avoid drains?

    It is painfully hard. I tried to get to 550k and got to 530k while getting my 5x goal. After that, no luck getting over 250k for the next hour so it's break time. Yikes it's a drainfest.

    Unplayable. I rushed through the goals and won't touch it again on vita unless it's fixed. Even the freaking sound is delayed and chops. This is game.com level stuff.

    Still not working, just bought and installed about 20 min ago. :( Wish I'd looked on here first, but never had this problem before. Vita and PS3.

    Getting superjets is awfully hard. The bumpers just don't seem to register hits at all a lot of the time. Otherwise it's great.

    1.10 patch just snuck in , no not the Tuesday patch 1.09 another one !

    I noticed it too earlier. It's a pretty big one, 130megs or so vs 30 something for 1.09. Not sure what changed. Maybe getting ready for AFM?

    Worf, good points. It's hard to remember sometimes, but the format war was vicious. Heck, they had to shut down avsforums for awhile because of death threats over HD DVD vs Bluray. And btw, I'm so glad we got Bluray. Sure it was more expensive for awhile, but in the end it's a great system...

    I was really hoping Sony could pull $399. I'm thinking 499 tops now. If it goes over that I'll be pretty surprised. I'll still get it, but I think 499 is a strong price ceiling now.

    I have to agree with metalzoic. It's clearly a minimal effort thing and they probably only do it because Sony had it in their contract that it had to be PS3 and Vita.
