Usually always before you get to the exciting tapping guitar part - the ball drains and the music resets, denying you the expected rock and roll thrills!
You'd be better of buying from Steam version than from the Mac App store - at least you have the option to game on PC with potentially a directX11 version to come.
The Mac version is continually neglected and seemingly low priority for major updates.
Sucks as a customer if you have already...
Today saw the release of OpenEmu, a fantastic emulator release for OS X.
Currently enjoying the following, particularly Jaleco's Pinball Quest; which is good fun! Nice silver ball animation with four tables. Devil's Crush and Alien Crush also classic as usual. Nintendo Pinball (1983), not so hot!
Anyone feeling any keyboard 'input lag'?
Definitely feel it on Fish Tales, seems like the flipper fires late after the key press, making it harder to connect with the ball at the right time.
Anyone got this working on Steam?- It's listed on Steam for download, claims to have downloaded the game then refuses to start, something about 'missing executable'.
Good news I guess, especially for quick updates to the program, but I'd be more excited if improved table lighting was announced.
Also, is it part of that Steam feature where purchase one platform you have access to the PC download too?

Is it possible to implement PC/Console style lighting on Mac TPA?
Tables such as Black Hole / Circus Voltaire are much more atmospheric on the PC than the relatively dull, lifeless counterparts on the Mac.
