Williams Volume 3 *OFFICIAL* Game play thread

I've only played Theatre so far. Looks and plays beautifully. I jumped straight into the Survival Challenge and easily cleared 15 stars, without even unlocking any upgrades first! Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, if you're concerned about difficulty. But those invisible balls are a...

    Official Williams Volume 2 news

I'm personally fine with them covering the same ground as TPA, because Zen's versions blow those out of the water. I want Zen versions of all those great tables now, regardless of whether I'm technically buying tables I already paid for in another game. TPA tables are like the VHS versions to...

    Official Williams Volume 2 news

I kinda love that Party Zone, a crossover between previous pinball machines, is being released before they are. In any event, I can't wait to get my hands on these. The first volume was easily the best those tables have ever looked digitally, and this should follow suit. I also secretly love...

Zen Studios alters classic pinball art to protect family-friendly rating

I genuinely don't care about the "censored" artwork at all. FT still looks and plays great, and I wouldn't have even noticed the change unless it was pointed out to me. The game has an "everyone" rating. It really doesn't matter if kids play Mortal Kombat or GTA in their spare time, or if...

Pack 2 - Williams' collection guesses

Yeah, the fact that Zen already has so many licensed original tables tells me all I need to know about the potential for licensed Williams tables to come out. And while it seems like they're starting with packs of tables, Zen certainly isn't beyond releasing a single table (The Walking Dead or...

PAF Top Ten Most Wanted Table Poll Series : #6 - Stern/Data East/Sega (Closed)

I have a serious soft spot for Checkpoint, since my friend owned it for a while. It's number one on my list from the games in the poll (even if it is, perhaps, not nearly the best).

Can't Exit The Game with the Gamepad

On consoles, I think you just hit the big button in the middle of the controller and exit to the dash.

High Score Initials Entry...getting around the chimes

+1 for making this a feature instead of a bug.

Can't Exit The Game with the Gamepad

Sorry, to be clear, I meant that you can't exit the Pinball Arcade entirely with just the pad. You're required to use the mouse to click the exit button.

Can't Exit The Game with the Gamepad

This may seem like a relatively minor annoyance, but the mouse is required to exit the game. This is actually a major issue for people using Big Picture Mode, navigating solely with their controllers.

    Full Screen

Windows 8 Pro, 64-Bit, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450, 1920x1080. I switched the game to full screen immediately and have had zero problems thus far.

Art Assets (Not on the Tables Themselves)

I suppose this has probably been mentioned elsewhere for other versions, but I'll mention it here. It's not a bug, per se, but at 1920x1080 on my PC, some non-table artwork like the "room" background and the logos all look pretty low res and unprofessional. On the other hand, I was pleasantly...

Capcom emulation is already a reality

Capcom is exciting because, while they didn't end up making many tables, ALL of them were fun and worth playing. My friend actually owned a Pinball Magic and we played the crap out of it.

PAF Top Ten Most Wanted Table Poll Series : #5 - Gottlieb/Premier (Closed)

I love Street Fighter II, goofy though it may be, though I wonder if Zen already having their own (different) table might complicate the license.
