There are a few at vpf.org
Even with their old physics engine, it plays great.
Really looking forward to the release.
As well as seeing the progress on the real world timeshock that is being built
In the next few months we should start seeing alpha and beta test versions.
We've gotten a few alphas already with new features but the physics aren't in yet
vp stepping up into the 21st century
Just wanted to post a little screen shot of my current update to one of my tables to show how far vp has come in a short period of time.
I'd do a side by side comparison of tpa, but I honestly like both programs and once cabinet support is added they will...
They'll be at vpu.
Yeah I lucked out and got a full playfield redraw for pinball magic and a bunch of plastic scans.
Still trying to figure out how to accurately make the corkscrew skill shot
I like them both as well.
Have all 3 seasons of tpa.
With the implementation of 3d meshes in vp and dx9 support I think they will quickly become more even in the looks category.
The toys on monster bash for instance, the vp version well outshines tpa version.
Both versions don't really play...
There is no emulation in fp. It's not possible. The program does not allow com objects so there is no communicating with pinmame.
You may be thinking of unit3dpinball. Which uses fp tables but runs in the unity engine and uses pinmame
I have a dk and fg and shrek and nba and wof, but oooplayer1ooo and I made them a few years ago and they need updating to the new vp features.
Working on fg now in between bop and pinball magic.
I think player1 is working on updating dk
The dx 9 port of vp w I'll soon be complete.
A new physics engine will be add to the vp10 which will begin development soon.
The new physics engine has been made available for test purposes and the ball spin and flipper accuracy is great.
Good things happening in the vp community this year...
Is there any way to add touch controls as one of the options for controls in the controls menu.
Just asking because I have a convertable Ultrabook/tablet running steam and it would be nice to run tpa in cabinet mode while the Ultrabook is in tablet mode with touch screen.
It's nice playing...
