ps4 is not hard to program. That reputation must be a hangover from the ps3 where to get the most out of it needed a bit of a dance but the ps4 is much more straightforward and really quite nicely powerful without too much of a struggle.
Got your Tempest right here.
There's a place for both modern and retro, depends what mood I'm in really. I have a pretty complete current MAME set on the PC, and on the iPad I run MAME, NES, SNES, PC Engine, c64, MSX, Coleco, 2600 and Megadrive, nice to have them all available when I fancy a...
Yaeh, I saw that happen in MM once too, ball rattling round in the pop bumpers then suddenly it was gone and a new one came out the plunger.
Agree about the camera angles, particularly on MM. On the PC version the camera is great when the ball is up the top, positioning itself so you can...
Tried it and I actually kind of like the presentation but my first ever game lasted over half an hour and I unlocked like 6 tables and started to get to that point where you almost want the game to end because it feels like a bit of a chore to keep it going. And on my gen1 iPad mini when you...
It seems like it does after all download all the tables automagically. I installed the game and bought season 1 and the first two or three times I selected a non-free table it took an age to download. Then suddenly all the tables were there. I guess it starts downloading them all, possibly...
I think my only major disappointment so far (apart from the subpar audio) has been Strobe Multiball on AFM. I was expecting an eyeball-blasting display from the new lighting system and in the end it's more like Darkness Multiball! I was hoping/expecting it to get like an early 90s rave in...
I had exactly this, went to start game and hung at scrolling cam view (camera was panning over the table, left stick made the "nudge" noise, circle button and square button made the camera change noise, but nothing actually worked). I did option/quit game and then started a new game without...
apparently it has been spotted in the wild:
Not my pic, that came from the SA forum. I did look for it yesterday in town but nothing. Anyway I'll probably buy it on download as I don't want to be arsed swapping discs every time I want a game of pinball.
I too am liking the look of the dark tables, although the ball is kinda hard to see in the dimmer areas.
It'd be cool if there was an option to make the ball itself a light source. Not realistic, true, but I bet it'd look cool on those dark tables.
yeah I just looked at the settings and that was on, I do run a few things in oculus rift mode but don't ever recall turning that option in the prefs on.
Happy with how it's running now, will pick up BH and the others next session :)
if I buy BH for 6.49 or whatever do I get RBION *and* TOM too?
Was going to hold off buying any tables till I saw the ps4 version but I caved and bought MM because who can live without MM and damn. Plays so well. So I want at least a few faves on my PC too.
Starting in fullscreen windowed...
ok, I found if I press Ctrl T I can switch it out of the stupid 3d mode. But if I switch back to desktop then back to the game it's in stupid 3D again. Also if you flip 5 times on one flipper it goes to desktop and asks if you want to activate Sticky Keys. If I go to the relevant control...
OK what the actual ****. Downloaded it, went to play, and for one it comes up with an overlay message courtesy of nVidia saying it's "not rated" which i can't clear since I'm using a mac keybord and it wants me to press ctrl alt insert and there is no insert on this keyboard.
But weirdest of...
anyway Plus is excellent value if you like games, I already got it a few months ago for my Vita and I've already got a ton of free stuff waiting to be played on both Vita and ps3. So not unduly bothered about having to have it for online stuff on ps4, I'm happy with it even if I never use the...
looks awesome, can't wait!
Very glad I splurged for the gold status, with all this work going into the game it's totally worth it. Great job Zsolt and team.
