Thank you all for your kind support. Christmas this year is going to be very hard.
All of your positive wishes have been taken into my heart and shared with my family.
Thanks to everyone for their very kind words, please play a good round of pinball for yours and my own.
Merry Christmas...
Being a fan of both Black Knight and Cerberus, I'd welcome Krull with open arms. I love basement platforms on games such as Black Hole, Haunted House & Elektra, but Krull brings along with it problems since it was an almost full sized playing field being viewed from a (reverse?) magnified...
I'm so sorry, so crazy sorry. I turn my head and see my boy. When I look down my hall I pretend that he is still there. I have this stupid feeling in my chest that one day he will return to me.
I'm sure you have all experienced this, I know that I have. This topic is not as fun as pinball, so head out if you can't relate.
I think I've gotten over the initial shock, but I'm having a really hard time coping. I wake up every morning, and there's that "oh crap" moment knowing that life...
Are you guys playing on Dark mode? It's really what makes the PS4 version the best, hands down.
Table Menu -> Help & Options -> Room Brightness: Dark.
It's a total light show, just like playing on the real thing at an arcade. It really makes you appreciate the tables more if you never played...
Thanks, you know what I mean. I want physical for the same reason that millions of people had a backlash towards Microsoft after the E3 event. Being able to own something tangible is truly something that many consumers want.
I bought a retail copy of Pinball Hall of Fame at GameStop for my 3DS...
I'm a fan and in the know, and I chose physical. Down the road a digital copy of a game tied to a single exclusive account holds about the same monetary value as a digital picture of a $25,000 wedding ring. Digital is non transferable and worthless to anyone outside of their home but the...
I highly doubt that the retail version will sell nearly as much as the digital one. Retail costs more for less (no pro options), and retail can't hold a candle to impulse buys.
I don't do facebook or twitter, but I do buy games. I hope that they check their own forum.
A limited edition physical...
A lot of us pinball fans are collectors at heart and still hold onto the past (Heck, we still love pinball). I am very happy to have found a retail copy of TPA for PS4, since it had sold out on Amazon so fast. 10-20 years from now I would still like to be able to play this game on PS4, and...
OK, for sure it's different. The Options button did nothing for me, no buttons worked but holding down the Home button. I wish I had taken a picture, but I wasn't too concerned at the time.
Was it like the Press Start glitch I had with Arabian Nights where you had to close out the game and restart, or were you able to restart Funhouse without closing TPA?
Also speaking of Black Hole, the plexiglass on the table used to view the lower playfield is supposed to be transparent blue, not clear. The blue plexi added that sense of outer space darkness when in the "Black Hole".
The only bug I've experienced so far is after the very first time I played through a game of Arabian Nights, it asked me to "press start" to continue/play again. As you all know there is no start button and absolutely no buttons on the controller worked (I even tried L3/R3). I had to press the...
I just stumbled on the Dark Mode option in the settings.... and it's AMAZING! :D
This is really how most of us remember playing the games at the arcades, I almost forgot how important the table lighting is to a Pinball game's presentation.
Thanks FarSight! *thumbs up*
