99% of my pinball is played on my phone or iPad, so I'm feeling a bit left out at this time. Any news on Zen supporting mobile platforms at all? I have nearly all the tables on Zen Pinball for iOS (just need 6 or 7 Marvel tables), and I'd really like to keep playing on there, but it's been years...
Well, since Christopher Lloyd won't license his likeness, it was either they change his appearance, or not release it at all. No other option, so I think they went with the better one.
Have they just given up on mobile at this point? It's frustrating, as I have almost all the tables available in the Zen Pinball iOS app (just need 8-ish Marvel tables). They don't even update that one anymore.
Thanks everyone. I'm a bit sad to close it down, but it seems the forum is a bit like the state of digital pinball. There was a period when lots of companies were working on digital pinball, and now there are few. Zen doesn't need the forum as much as FarSight did, since they have their own...
So the good news for people is that Apple Arcade games usually have 1 year of exclusivity, and then they appear elsewhere. So, for those that don't subscribe to Apple Arcade (I don't), think of this as a preview of what's to come..
I'm more worried about their apparent lack of plans for the...
I believe Apple gets a 1 year exclusive on the Apple Arcade games and then they can appear elsewhere. "Alba" was an Apple Arcade game that recently made its way to other platforms.
Actually... it is. There are tons of adult fans of the show ("Bronies"), and it's a popular property.
Also, I have a prediction that another table is going to be Transformers. Mel said something to the effect of "people my age will be excited by this," as well as Transformers and My Little Pony...
Apple Arcade is getting Zen Pinball Party.
I wonder what this will do to the main Zen Pinball on iOS, which is currently so broken you can’t even download tables on it.
Assuming iOS, and assuming you have a Mac, it’s as simple as connecting the iOS device to your Mac, going into QuickTime and creating a new movie capturing from the iOS device.
Or you can do what Scared Stiff said (I had problems recording audio using that method, which lead me to the Mac way).
The minute you start panning sounds from left to right, it's no longer a mono track (unless the panning is being done by you, at the device that's playing back the audio).
But you don't lose the ability to play the daily challenges if you buy the tables, do you? You can play the challenges and earn stuff to unlock other ball trails, pinballs, and flippers... you just can also play the actual tables whenever you want.
