Ok, so crisis SOMEWHAT averted. So Zen failed to mention you can get OTHER table parts in limited-time challenges. This lowers the price even further, and we just have to worry about White Water right now.
I just unlocked Hurricane Grade 1 and was able to play that challenge, which grants me...
Granted, I don't know if these Limited Time Challenges really reset every week, or if they're really only available for 7 days. I know they reset every day, but still.
Well, bad news. Got the last parts for Theatre and Safe Cracker. The free table part per day disappears from the store, and I'm starting to earn coins now. Let's do some math:
5 parts for 50 coins is 1 part for 10, effectively, from the store.
If you replay the limited challenge, it's 5 coins...
So here's what's changed:
Advanced challenges now cost 30 tickets to reset completely.
You now have a once-per-day Limited Challenge that allows you to earn specific rewards. There are three of these, but only one is unlocked if you don't plan on doing anything else. You'll earn Hurricane...
I figured as much as well. Parts and the new stuff aren't available just yet on my end either.
They might have updated the core app, but they still need to get everything else in.
....not to mention there's now a limited-time challenge that's not available yet.
Oh I was already completely aware. I reported it as always, but it seemed like nothing was done.
I know the main music portion is fine, but I knew something was off with those cymbals. I also did notice those sound issues OP mentioned.
Volume 4 has been released. Issues added:
General:
Somehow, after playing RoadShow, I feel that the fading sound effects are reversed. The sound effects that are supposed to fade (ie the inlanes on Roadshow, flying saucer during the Match sequence on AFM, etc.) are getting louder instead of...
....have been hectic. I did have fun spending time with family over the last two weekends, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying some pinball in the meantime. Here we go!
First up is the trip to Pittsburgh -- the location I visited is Kickback Pinball Cafe, since my last visit from 2014...
Alphanumerics are coming, per the Blahcade Interview. YES!
I imagine Banzai Run won't be difficult for them, since they've done Paranormal previously.
/off-topic
Yeah, I imagine since it's near Halloween, it makes sense to go after the Universal Monsters.
Reposting from the previous thread:
Volume 2 was the first Bally pack, and Volume 3 threw more Bally games in. 4 Williams and 6 Bally.
Volume 4 balances it back with a total of 7 Williams and 6 Bally.
What I'm predicting is that Volume 5 will be all Bally and Volume 6 will be the rest.
Honestly I have no clue as to why the blue rails were cut. I remember seeing a picture of a physical cabinet with a blue lockbar, but it must have been in some of the early prototypes.
Well let's see...
