I'm absolutely loving MB. I did have a glitch where it went to multiball and the camera zoomed into the upper playfield so I couldn't see the flippers. I was having my best game too, so I just kept hammering the flippers and hoping for the best. Sad to say but I didn't do a whole lot worse than...
I will try it tonight with the cord plugged in. I think i may have read the same thing as Bahnzo though. I love being able to control my nudging on the ps3 and it looks incredible but I have been sticking to the iOS version. I've done everything I could regarding settings but whatever is causing...
Boy that is going the extra mile Nik! I almost wish my HTC EVO was filtered. It seems unplayable on single-core devices. I don't even care about the $15 I'm out... I just wish I could play it. After the update it was so choppy, the ball went from the top of the play field to the drain in like 4...
Same here. Single core HTC EVO. It was choppy no matter what before. Now it's worse. I hoped "fix performance issues on some android devices" would help with the choppiness but it was way worse. Uninstalled after 5 mins. I've said it before but the EVO is choppy when just scrolling web pages so...
Thanks guys. Although it's not quite the same thing, it reminds me of the "McGurk" effect in that sometimes it sounds like "circuits" and other times it sounds like "vision" or "digits" LOL. I was pretty sure he wasn't talking about Sally Field when I thought I heard "Gidget". If you look up...
I have 9 or 10, about half are guys I met through this forum and the TPA facebook page. One of my fb friends (not on my tpa list though) mentioned pinball in an unrelated post and works for apple. I messaged him and said, "If you love pinball you Ned to check out TPA." he said "Already got it. I...
I know what you mean. In phof I used a still camera with as top-down a view as I could get for most tables. With TPA though, I'm using the scrolling cam to get a closer look at the details.
Oh I'm not even disagreeing. In fact i agree with every statement above. It throws me off when it changes views a bit too. Obviously it bothers almost everyone. I just meant from the standpoint of the guys making the game, that there must have been a reason for doing it this way. Maybe when...
Multiball cam doesn't really bother me. I always figured it was necessary actually unless you were playing from a non-moving top-down angle. With the moving cams and low angles how would you be able to see what's going on? With all the different view choices, I can't see how multiball would work...
Looks fantastic! Cant wait for this one. I feel a bit bad for FS man. People on the fb page hound them for news & info and are incredibly rude. When they are finally able to announce some great news, people's responses are kind of stunning. Anyway, is it just me or does Rudy sound different than...
Incidentally, after playing on PS3 last night, I switched over to Zen immediately after to compare lag/physics etc. No disrespect to Zen... I bought several of their tables but could never get into them for some reason. Zen had a bit less lag than TPA but still noticable. I hit my flipper and...
I feel the same way. I'm noticing a bit of lag on PS3 that I'm hopeful can be addressed but the iOS version has run great on my iPad 2 from day one. As I've said before, I drop 20-40 bucks a week into the real tables. $1 - $3 per table is amazing imho. Runs like crap on my old single core phone...
Thanks guys. The main one I can't figure out is "engage optical _______" sometimes it sounds like "vision" or "gidget" lol. I know "partial optical link" etc. but this one is driving me nuts.
The original Pin*Bot table had a similar thing. I think he said something like "partial linkup". For...
Does anybody know what Pin*Bot is saying when you engage the mouth and eyes? "engage vocal ______"
Etc? Sometimes it sounds like circuits, sometimes I can't tell. Other times it sounds like he says "optical vision" I'm a bit deaf. I googled "bride of pinbot quotes" but the only one ever...
LOL I'm with you on that one. People don't get it when I tell them I tap dance in the door every night after work! Very nice to be able to play guitar or pinball for hours if I like and not get into "trouble" hahah!
I'm scoring just ok on the ps3 version but I'm having to definitely shoot early. Very tough because I love the lighting and the ability to control my nudging. I was showing my friend by holding up the controller in front of the screen and tapping the flipper. You could see that my finger was...
iOS, PS3, and android (HTC EVO) here. I didn't figure it'd run too great on my phone. Even scrolling web pages is choppy. I played some BoP on my friend's S2 Galaxy epic though and was dying to play it, so I d/led it anyway. Hoping the announced android update helps but I'm not too worried about...
I only have frog frenzy left. I'm kind of old but I never really got the trophies and achievements things. It doesn't seem like much of an achievement when half the time I wasn't trying for it and don't even know what I did to get it.
