holy s#%# that should have said over 50 tables! Not 150! I hate typing on this iPad. Thought I should correct that before people start making road trips LOL. We estimated about 55 tables. Next time I'll try to proof-read a bit better before I hit send. Sorry!
When I heard BoP was coming to TPA, I searched out the real machine and dropped about 10 bucks into it just to figure it out. Much more fun to go back after playing TPA and play the real table when you know the shots and goals. Now I'm looking for a CV so I can do the same thing.
That's the place! I can't believe I've lived here this long and never knew about it. Talked to the owner a bit about all the tables. He said his dream was to own an entertainment complex. I said "If I ever hit the lottery this is exactly what I would do!" LOL. We've been hitting the place every...
We found a place about 20 mins away called Blainbrook (bowling alley) that has over 150 tables. Been hitting it on weekends ever since Jeff Strong told me about the pinball locator site. No CV but they've got just about everything else.
I checked this one and a chunk of one called " how to beat cirqus Voltaire" (something like that) looks like a great table. I also like funhouse and so far am way happy with FS's selection of tables. I can't wait until about a year down the road.
I've said it before but I notice a bit of lag with the Williams Collection as well. Very slight and I was able to adjust my timing. I didn't even notice until my friend was over who's a monster on the real pins. He couldn't get into it due to the lag. After that I noticed it more but I can still...
I've never played CV so I looked it up on YouTube. Looks pretty great. The sad thing is I know the entire next year is going to be spent waiting for whatever tables are coming next. I probably check Farsight's fb page and this forum 3-4 times a day LOL. Don't know if I can keep up this level of...
I was just thinking this too. A friend and I were playing some ToM this weekend. She has TPA and the dlc on her Galaxy S2 Epic, knows the tables and has some decent scores. Shots were rolling off the end of the ends of her flippers every time. She usually beats me on the real life tables. I...
Too hard to choose. I guess I don't really have a favorite. I would say a tie between Popadiuk and Lawlor. As everyone else said, these are all pretty amazing characters.
Trash Man, sorry I didn't reply! I must've lost track of the thread. I'm not even sure what the difference is between bozo bonus and believe it or not bonus. It was a random thing though as it gave me several of them.
I voted rock and roll/blues but I'm mostly listening to bebop players the last few years. Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie etc. if I can ever improvise 1/1000th as good as the guys I listen to, I'd be happy. Trying to improve my phrasing etc. and I've learned a lot from listening to sax...
I think this is correct. I was able to get the lag down to a minimum using the methods everyone described and it plays great, however I can still notice a tiny bit of lag. I have the same thing on Williams collection but it is slight enough that I got used to it. In fact I didn't even notice it...
BoP does feel weightier than the other tables to me too. I was just playing a real MM a few weeks ago though and TPA is a lot more accurate to how It really is than the Williams collection. (i.e. at the real table I couldn't hit s*** and my score sucked) When I jump from ToM to BH playing TPA...
Playing beautifully here iPad 2. BoP's ball feels a bit slower and heavier than the other tables to me. So far everything is looking and playing perfectly. MM and TOTAN both seem a lot more difficult than The Williams Collection but also more true to how crappy I score in real life. I absolutely...
