I'm aware of what tilting is... I was referring to the feeling that tilt on TPA seems a bit clunky and lacks the control/touch that you get playing physical pinball. So I get used to being more mindful of how I set up each shot about rather than relying on tilting to save a mistake. I know...
I don't know if I'd go as far as to say some are unplayable without tilt - which ones are you referring to?
I generally like to avoid tilts in favor of setting up the previous shots...
Also I haven't really been able to take advantage of tilt in TPA yet.
So does having a "foul mouth" reduce the credibility of his statements? Some people really need to get a thicker skin and understand context over presentation
Well, you're definitely not alone here. I completely sympathize.
That is something that continues to bug me about developers, particularly for android, is that we buy a product because we like it, it works a certain way, looks a certain way, we enjoy particular features, etc. Then one day an...
That was an interesting read... Nobody asked about having a dark room mode for android, huh? The way it looks on Zaccaria is just perfect. Something about seeing the lights pop and the light reflect off of the various surfaces makes it feel more like I'm looking at an actual pinball machine...
Well that would suck. Have you attempted any fixes? Clear cache, maybe even re-download? Maybe your best bet would be to record a log while starting the game. You could then send that log to TPA and they could at least analyze the crash, maybe find a fix.
YES! I've been practically screaming "get a seek bar!!!" for months! It scrolls for a mouse and is a drag item on android, extremely fast, simple to implement, and best of all it's logical.
As for "favorites"... WTF??? What constitutes a "favorite"? This just gets weirder and weirder! Once...
Absolutely. People need to learn to not be so lazy, hold the phone/tablet up close to eye level.
Having worked in IT for years, people can often develop shoulder issues from using a mouse.
I can attest. Depending on which qigong you train and who you learn from, I've never found a set of physical exercises that create better joint health ( disregarding taijiquan and such).
I play TPA mostly on tablet or my Galaxy Note 3 and the tips of the fingers tend to feel it after extended...
Exactly. I mentioned that this will not fix the fact you still have to do tons of scrolling unlike with a seek bar that takes you from A to Z as fast as you can move.
One unfortunate thing about the sorting scheme is the lack of breaks and visual framework that shows clear compartmentalization.
Interesting... BTW, since the audio seems to almost randomly drop from tables, pausing a game and then flicking the sound toggle off and on does seem to help sometimes. Note - sometimes.
Last time I checked and unchecked vibration it did nothing. I'll test it again though.
Great stuff we have...
"We have six different options of sorting and yet, they all feel the same"
Yeah, you know it would be nice if there was some actual categorization among the different sorting methods. Instead there is 0 separation between say a Stern table and a Williams.
BTW how is the vibration working...
Interesting video. BTW for clarity I should note that the change in how android manages resources was implemented for LP, so you would notice differences between say KK and LP but maybe not so much between LP and MM.
Edit: from my memory it was when Google decided to switch from JIT compiler.
Just a heads up to anyone who is using less than 2gb ram devices and has slowdowns and other issues, try restarting the device maybe once or twice a week. Clear background apps before playing TPA... You'll most likely get the best play from a freshly restarted device. Especially with older...
I'm wondering if that is more of a feature of your android OS. You are using a newer version, like MM? I believe the newer android OSs like to pre load in a manner of speaking so that your apps appear to open more quickly.
I tend to never use the latest android OS because I'd rather customize...
