I've always contributed it to experience and desire. Experience doesn't need to come from pinball, there are many things that morph your thinking and perspective in this world. Sometimes those experiences help you into something, then desire pushes you over that point.

Well at least you didn't have to face the trillion point ST:TNG score that appeared and beat my score a couple months back... Pinball Arcade never replied but the player seemed legit otherwise. Weird bug perhaps...

Same here, only got the looking for ball bug, not an incorrect score. In the end I just play for fun but it is frustrating losing a score due to a bug

So here is my suggestion to most players, don't worry about the top scores! Just play for fun, and on occasion if you want a marathon game go for it. I have no interest usually in playing for days on a table, it's not fun! Not to mention avoiding ball loss and having to shut off the game...

Not sure if this is being worked on but I refuse to play Black Knight due to the issues on locking the balls up top. Half the time I have to call for attendant, attempt the shot again, only to have the ball get stuck in the lock and I have to call attendant again!

To be honest I am surprised at the amount of low scores on Dredd, maybe they have issues with the top shot? Both games are infinite on 1st game imo

Perhaps Tarek is just using a strategy I've been doing recently and "sandbagging" scores. People try harder to reach a score if you give them a goal. I typically only choose a few tables that I know I can smash even on an off day and get my top score near the end of the tournament. Not...

I can see it right now! They implement 4 player games and start getting hateful feedback because some player just lasted 2 hours on ball 1.... I do believe leagues would be a nice addition but not simultaneously due to obvious issues.
