Yeah, it's a shame. Finding pinball machines is half the battle, finding ones in good shape is the other. Once you play a properly functioning machine, you'll never want to touch a dirty, broken down, limp flippered, cracked rubber machine again.
Some would argue you shouldn't even step foot on a golf course without first practicing on the driving range and putting green! It's sort of how I approach the challenges, as practice, but it's also what I do after bashing around on any new table for a few rounds. I go into practice mode...
I'd say this is more for the operators than anything, increasing the efficiency use of their machines on route.
The idea of being able to change game/operator settings remotely is huge. You get a spread sheet's dump of data, make some tweaks remotely and see how that affects your profit margin...
I've said it before, I'll say it again; nobody faults the casino for not having windows or clocks, for having labyrinthian layouts and no clear paths to exits, all in the name of keeping you there as long as they possible can to get the most money from you. The mobile market is the same way...
This is a must read.

It has wide reaching implications. Even though it makes no mention of digital pinball, the cabinet Zen is going to be putting out into the wild this fall is going to...
Love that place. With $20 you can be there for hours, as opposed to 5 minutes at a black jack table!
I don't think they've broke ground yet on the new location, but be sure to drive by anyways. South side of the strip on the other side of the street from Mandalay Bay.
Yeah, that was an excellent idea Gregg had there to use a marble. Wish he had of shown that first and then played the digital versions, but that's just me!
The question I posted to his comments is how do we know gravity is even a factor in digital pinball? Are those forces programmed in? Or is...
Yeah, I have no intention of trying to run OBS, pay attention to comments, and run the game itself on my 23” monitor. A friend has a spare monitor he’s not using, once his main monitor comes back from repairs. I know ideally you want 2 identical monitors, but beggars can’t be choosers! My tech...
If you go back to my very first post that started this thread, you'll see that the worry over what will happen once more and more tables get introduced has been of primary concern. That is why I want Zen to introduce bonus weekends or special events that can boost collecting for a brief time...
Nobody on either platform has said the option to buy Volume 4 ever appeared, it was only by asking to do so through support (I think?) that anyone was able to do so.
The only offers that appeared were:
250 coins to get White Water at 2 stars (which also then opened up the 3rd challenge in the...
I really hope this is the new model going forward, having the new tables cordoned off for a week. That should allow any player, new or old, to 2 star all 3 in that frame*.
On Twitter I asked if the timed event tab would get more use in the coming weeks. It is a perfect spot for doing short...
I record my screen via the record button found by swiping up from the very bottom of the iPhone screen. I did have to activate it in settings to see it first, but now it’s always there. So it’s not a camera aimed down or anything, that’s why no thumbs. It’s just straight up pulling the game play.
Pure preference on my part. For some reason the right flipper to left jab frequently misses, so there’s that. I also prefer just doing body shots as it prevents so much side to side action that tends to lead to an out lane drain. Lastly, IF I need a 2nd fight, the lower health bar start is good...
