The new ui is great, with the exception of a few things
1. I can't stand the Pinball Wizard song. Please take the vocals out or put the old song back in.
2. The whole click on a table and then press start thing. Why can't you just click or double click to start a table?
And I'm glad that...
Why don't they just give Addams Family Gold away for free for anyone who pledges $5 or more AND sell it to people who didn't even pledge for just a few dollars, like they did for the Pro Menu ($100 tier) on the Twilight Zone Kickstarter. It is the only way to be fair.
My top ten tables are very different from my top ten table packs because a lot of my favorite tables are packed with not so good ones. For instance, I love Medieval Madness but think Bride of Pinbot gets boring. I love Big Shot, but despise Scared Stiff. So, I'll give you my top ten tables and...
I generally find it much more difficult to keep the ball alive in Zen Pinball than TPA, probably because I play more TPA. I do have a lot of problems trying to figure out what to do on many of their tables and often get bored of them quickly.
I actually have the same taste as Shutyertrap in zen...
Fun fact: on an actual Central Park (and other EMs from that era), you can actually launch all of your balls at once and have a multiball. The downside is that your games would end quickly.
But, if memory serves me correctly, you just shoot the saucers for clues. You also have to shoot the drop targets, and with a wide range of shots, some of them have to be tricky.
Goin Nuts doesn't have out lanes either, and that table is still fairly difficult too keep balls in play in TPA. A...
I don't think they hacked out the name call outs. I believe Farsight rips the audio separately from the rom and has them play when the Rom tells it to. This is why AFM used to be missing the "God Bless the U.S.A." callout. All they would have to do is not record a sound bite or not associate it...
I have never seen Dr. Who, but when I played it at a pinball museum, it was my favorite DMD that I played of the ones that weren't already in The Pinball Arcade. And I played Indiana Jones (Williams), The Shadow, and Demolition Man. This doesn't necessarily mean it is a deep table though. It...
is there an end of ball bonus on the original EM? If not, the scoring would be much more balanced than the City of Gold version. The main problem with the gameplay of EDCOG is the fact that nothing is really worth much apart from the bonus.
Fireball and I think the other is the em version of El Dorado.
I guess they are doing two to make up for the Xenon problem last year (it didn't even belong on the poll as it was released in 1980. And if it was an early 80's poll, it never would have won.)
You can't make that up. Lol.
I remember this was the first thing I noticed when I saw it at the Silverball Museum in Jersey. I knew right away that I had to play it and take this picture.
I can't recall anything sticking out gameplay wise, but it amused me.
