New UI - Pinball Arcade screen:
- If you're using the D-pad on a controller to navigate and change the sort from A-Z to anything else, the view is changed, but the pointer immediately snaps back to A-Z, which also gets the blue highlight.
- If you have a table highlighted, then change the sort...
So far so good. I've only got full access to Time Machine right now, but it plays great and X360 controller support was just fine.
My only two gripes:
- The instructions screen, there's no way to scroll it using the controller. Also scrolling it with the mouse isn't exactly intuitive.
- I'd...
They were saying on commentary how all six games have been blowouts so far, which kinda sucks. I tend not to pay attention to the NBA but do when the finals roll around because there's nothing else on, apart from baseball. So far this year it's been an ill-tempered series with no close...
Monsters Of Rock as a wizard mode on its own isn't exceptional - but it's the journey as much as the mode itself that makes it so satisfying.
The same can be said of Rule The Universe, and even then it gets ho-hum after the first time because you don't need to conquer Mars.
Battle For The...
You have to be in multiball, drain two balls into the right outlane, and nudge them both into the plunger.
Sounds like you need some luck to do it - except thanks to TPA Railroad Physics(tm), you don't need luck! Just hold the top flipper when the ball is ejected from the top-left Mega Port (or...
I was kinda watching. Gaming on my monitor. Yankees game on my tablet. NBA was relegated to my 'phone with the volume down. I noticed Cleveland were running up a big gap, so I shut it down when my battery started running low.
Are these screenshots saved using the Steam screenshot button (F12)? If so, they're not stored locally. You have to upload them to Steam.
Otherwise - how are you getting screenshots? There's nothing within TPA that allows for it so check the help/documentation of whatever it is you're using.
Xenon gives away Specials like crazy. For instance once the Tube is maxed at 90k, every other shot gives out a Special (which is set to be worth 50k). Hence why the knocker fires so often.
Well, that's interesting. Since the timer always running is how it always behaves on every table in the mobile version, I (and I guess everyone else...) assumed that that's how it actually works. But clearly the timer stops when the ball is in the plunger lane, per that video. (In particular...
It does that on Mobile as well, and I think it's intentional as a result of the limits of the table ROM. Plunge quickly or lose the time! The timer also continues to count down when you're served the ball again if you drain before the timer hits zero.
As has been mentioned as a request for...
No, that seems right to me. The ball is quite "heavy" in the tablet version played in "Arcade" mode. (I've never played with "Simulation" mode to tweak the physics, so maybe it can be changed there.)
I'll probably have a bit of spare cash in August or so. Won't be too long! I still have TPA, Final Fantasy X / X-2, Fallout 4, oh and something called a "family" who I occasionally interact with ;)
Going in order, my take on the tables:
1. HS2 (7/10) - Like its predecessor, HS2 suffers from a lack of depth in rules and gets very repetitive very quickly. That's not to say it isn't fun in short bursts.
2. F-14 (10/10) - It has all the same problems as HS2, but looks and sounds better. The...
