Sounds like you had a great childhood, Frank. That would have been sweet, to have been able to play all those beauties when they were brand spanking new.
When you grow up with a foundation like that, pinball will surely be with you for the rest of your life
Awsome it is but TPA will have no trouble working on a real dmd since the rom files was made to work that way in the first place. The process with pro pinball is very different so no need to take note of that process. Now physics and lighting is another matter ;-)
I could not have said it better myself. Agree times 10. If there had been 10 tables in this poll from 77-79 they would all have got my vote. Gottlieb was on top of the world then. It all went downhill after the GM and EK duo was no more. Ok, There was a few ok machines after 1980 but nothing...
When it comes to who holds the rights. I think capcom sold all their pinball assets to Gene Cunningham and if I remember correctly, FS has already been in contact with him and things are looking good in that department. So whenever FS have the time to perfect the emulation, Capcom tables will...
A while ago Stern had a picture of Superman also on their facebook site. All the talk of monsters is fun but since I do not know how to have fun I will just say that I am pretty sure the next one will be Star Trek and since Stern has had great success with music pins there will probably be a...
The contract FS has with all the pinball companies (at least Williams and Bally) are for 3 years, but of course they can extend that contract for another 3 years if both parties find it wise to to so. The kickstarter tables are probably gone after 3 years (2 years for T2) because doing another...
damn. I was secretly hoping I would be able to beta test on both possible platforms (IOS and PC) for 400$.(it was never clear to me from the tier description what they really meant)
Still waiting for the email from FS. Guess I'll be choosing PC too then.
Well Gord since you seem to enjoy Scandinavian crime shows, you could check out "Broen" (the Bridge) a Danish/Swedish co-production from 2011 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1733785/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
or maybe "Ørnen" (a older Danish series) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383164/
Both are better than...
I went with GNR, Tommy and Checkpoint. There is probably a few better than Checkpoint but how could I not vote for that one ;) and it was the first dmd machine if I am not totally wrong so that's my excuse
Now if Microsoft would just cancel the whole certification process and the "We will release it when it suits us" mentality we could have this baby in August, but my guess is more like October/November. In the case of Microsoft I have found it is better to be a pessimist (or realist if you will)...
True Sumez. I had never heard of Judge Dredd before that infamous Stallone movie. I think he is a little more known in England but nothing close to the the other superheros by far
It's all in the choice of words, Mark. I do this all the time myself and discover it to late so nothing to worry about ;) You sounded like you were stating a fact and not voicing an opinion and I believe that was what Gord just wanted to say (please correct me if I got it wrong). Happens to the...
We can all speculate that this and that license will be cheaper, but in the end any license has the potential of being expensive. It all depends on the holder of the license and how cooperative they and their lawyers are, but at least there is a good chance that FS will get this one at a decent...
