Frog Frenzy is one of the tougher goals, in my opinion. Because it involves a lot of luck.
There is several ways to light the super jackpot:
- Visit all continents. Easy but long.
- Shoot 3 ramps during Multiball. A lot less easy.
But when you have lit all the jackpots (1 to 6 millions), there...
It seems normal to me that the ball can accelerate at the exit of the ramp (a little bit too much, though). On the contrary of Medieval Madness, on HD, there is no stop before the inlanes.
But maybe I'm wrong, because it doesn't happen on the real table, I don't know.
Extra ball not granted if video mode is lit: it was about the 15th patch, the DMD displayed that there was an extra ball to get, I shot the red light hole: no patch, no extra ball, only the video mode has started.
EDIT: my mistake, I didn't read the rules: 3 extra balls max per game. But I did...
No, I shot the first ball on the right ramp. It started the "jackpot show" on the displayer.
During this, the second ball was hitting the slingshots (I remember that I tracked the Special red light, in front of the left ramp and outlanes).
And then, the bug occured. Displayer locked, no music...
A good game on EATPM (around 40 millions), last ball.
Multiball, 2 balls on the playfield.
Left ramp done for the jackpot.
I lit the special via the Dead Heads (5 completed sets in one ball).
Then I shot the right ramp with one ball, jackpot is displayed and... crash.
The displayer stays...
Actually, if you have the regular ball which looks "translucent", you just have to go back to the main menu screen (the one with Season pack buttons). Then, launch a table which you don't have play yet (and set with the regular ball), start a game. Then, quit and relaunch the table you want to...
I like the design of the table, and it has a good replay value because of the wizard goals.
For the 3 million one, it's "doable" with a lot of luck though, by avoiding risk shots and nudging slightly all the time (and I mean each shot). I reach a 800.000 score on my first game, playing wildly...
Yes, I remember this, it was brakel: "The Milwaukee show was where I was told that they had found the problem and knew how to fix it. One of their guys said that in the last week they found the cause and probable fix for the remaining PS3 lag and will push out the fix asap. I think it is a...
It seems there can be many months between the "promise" of a fix and the fix being implemented in an update (because of the needed work, planning of update submissions, and so on...).
Let's take this statement about the washed colors for the PS3:
September, 12th, 2012:
"I am hoping to make a...
Ok, I understand better now why some players stated that they don't have any lag at 1080 (whereas it was purely unplayable for me).
Concerning this one frame lag (obvious on complex tables), is Farsight plan to fix it, or is it unfixable due to the special lighting process?
Yep.
Rather than MM brightness to have been lowered, it seems that the brightness of others tables has been increased. So, MM seems more darker, in comparison.
And I have the same feeling concerning warmer colors on some tables.
Croooow111 has made a video about pro mode, two weeks ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4VpUdqnSnc
I wanted to purchase the Season 1 Pro Pack (because the extra cost is minimal), but after seeing this, I think I will take the standard pack.
Sound test has no interest because of the...
Me again. I investigate the bug... and I encounter all the same things than you (pink "glow", custom balls that come back to normal lighting) and I found even a way to switch back to the regular ball (when it's translucent) without rebooting TPA.
I don't understand what happens exactly, but I...
Ok, I investigated this bug... and it's just insane. Take a seat.
I use Rbion and MB for the example. The two tables (of your choice) must be set with the regular ball by default when you launch TPA.
1- Launch TPA (really?)
2- Go to the table selection screen, choose Rbion, go to the table...
Oh yeah. Technically, 720p is already HD, but TPA looks so much nicer in 1080i/p. A pure eye candy.
Yep, I forgot to mention that. My controller is always plugged in, because my sixaxis battery is quite dead (its autonomy is about 2-3 hours more or less). I don't know if I have some lag with...
First, thank you for the pics.
I didn't encounter this weird pink "glow" using the "zebra" ball (tested on Funhouse, because I don't own Firepower).
Concerning the dark ball, yes, this is it, but even a little more darker (on FunHouse and Rbion, I think it depends of the table). Reboot the...
No, as MonkeyGrass said, you can still revert back to the regular ball, by relaunching TPA, in game, when you play with the translucent ball.
The key point is to not play with a custom ball and to have the table set with the regular ball before starting a game.
Otherwise the regular ball...
Weird. Monkeygrass on the 2.14 update thread makes the same statement than me:
"I don't know what they did to the lighting engine, but the performance improvements are noticable, for sure. Just ran at 1080 and it would appear that a lot, if not all, of the lag is gone. The ball lighting is...
Hey guys, this translucent ball is not a new ball, it's a bug! (2.14 NA update & 1.10 EUR update)
Here's why and how to fix it (hoping that FS would do something about that):
- If you play with a custom ball (very dark now, without reflection effect), and go back to the regular ball...
