The only time touch nudging is good is when your can map screen touches to controllers.
That recoil or double-stroke is beautiful to see. It makes the table seem real and alive. Less "digital", if you will.
He won't be back. But he is on Google plus if you want to interact with him still. He just won't be participating in the forum any more. He will be spending the time saved on playing TPA ;-).
Just a heads up that Gord updated the plugin to the very latest vBulletin version available (4.3.1)
Consequently, you now have many more notification preferences you can configure:

This is epic news!
Another issue I've encountered with the 4.2.1 update is that all the usual tricks for keeping root enabled (so I can use a joystick app to emulate touch commands with a controller) were b0rked, because the 4.2 update encrypted certain system partitions of the OS. So any su...
This would stand to reason: 720p seems pretty standard HDMI resolution for the Tegra 3 Chipset.
Before the TF300T (very similar in specs to the N7, and ergo Ouya) received the Android 4.2.1 update, I managed to get Zen Pinball HD outputting full 3D (stuff jumping out of the screen at you 3D)...
I had to restore all purchases on both Zen Pinball HD (Android) and TPA today because I (accidentally because the ASUS boot loader is a piece of crap) factory reset my tablet. (Big sad face).
Zen took me about 10 minutes. Tap the restore purchases button, and walk away. Downloading worked...
I think it might have something to do with the virtual profile of that huge center lens in the sheriff star. I think it is sitting a little bit 'proud' of the playfield. Digitally-speaking, of course.
Cactus Canyon seems to have this invisible playfield imperfection around the sheriff's star (second rectangular light from the left I think ) that sends slow balls all over the place. Almost like there is a magnet under the playfield. Fast balls are fine.
I encountered this while playing in...
Are there supposed to be two plungers on the machine?
Play this game, and you'll never complain about the Medieval Madness flipper gap again...
Although I did manage to place EEL on the high score table.
_Cactus Canyon Observations_
Absolutely no high score initial entry music or sound effects on cactus canyon.
100% so far on the games I've played. Also no match music (if the game has any). And the attract mode music takes a while to start paying again.
The interface sound effects are all...
If you can settle for Standard graphics mode, it is possible to get 3D output using HDMI from your high-powered Android tablet. In a playable state!
I've got a thread on the Zen HD forums about this.
Pretty epic feature, and the fact you can do this on tablets is pretty crazy!
The ESB table...
This is the correct answer to why this game needs to be in the TPA collection. Too many people have not had a chance to experience this surprising, challenging, infuriating, token spitting game.
And dare I say a fully functioning operator menu in each purchased table. And a great leader board and working friends list.
And as I discovered by accident, stereoscopic 3D through HDMI out. On my ANDROID TABLET. It is choppy, but, damn...
