Nope, the licensing deal for sure does not allow them to put things on t-shirts. Those TZ tees, they're really hoping to not get in trouble with! I suggested they make FarSight / TPA shirts available for purchase. Norman joked that there is a reason they don't do physical products anymore. Now...
I think all of this just highlights what a weird time we are in right now when it comes to our digital entertainment.
Old models of business no longer apply, but nobody has a grasp on what the new models are. Every time Apple updates iTunes, updates their OS, we obviously expect our music to...
No, it's not a reluctance to purchase for the PS4. It's that if you aren't gonna be getting a PS4 as soon as it comes out, and the writing is on the wall for the PS3 and it being supported long term by FarSight, time to jump ship for a format like the PC that will be supported for the future...
So now and then I visit a forum with a dedicated thread to roller coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain here in California. I look at it maybe once every 3 months, and am only a lurker. As I read through it, I'm thinking how wacko nuts obsessive these people are, as they are discussing how the...
This is a different situation though, different times. I honestly have the same question for Rock Band, though since they're not putting out retail games anymore it does kind of make the point moot. The PS2 did not have an online store and DLC.
Maybe if I explain the logic in my head, I can...
And yet you still had to download the tables again. Mike just posted that the way DLC currently works, you'd have the old version of the table and then the newly updated version would be included as well, thus the larger file size that carries over each time. I think what Zen did was a HUGE coup...
Man, I don't have any specific questions related to either of those tables as I haven't really played them in a very long time. Now in a few weeks when Trek comes out for PS3...
Still, I am curious about this; Steve is known for how incredibly fast his tables are. The fact that Trek has that...
Depending on how thick your accent is though, bleeping may not be needed!
Anybody remember Johnny Dangerously? Where the one character said things like 'farking corksucker' and 'icehole'? Nice way around a PG-13! Anyway, that's how I imagine Hairy talking.
When the 360 and PS3 came out, the potential for DLC was in its infancy. Unfortunately the way that model was built, it doesn't allow for updates the way the mobile platforms now use. I'm sure the NextBox and PS4 will use something more akin to whats going on now.
As for updating on current...
Excellent job Jeff.
I did wince every time Bobby mentioned an update to nagging table issues, always adding "for mobile". I might jump ship from PS3 to PC because of that. At least with the PC there shouldn't be any DLC issues like that.
But thank God they'll at least address Black Knight on...
MM kills me with video mode and BFTK. I've also kinda lost patience with trying, so there's that!
I only gave a good solid try on CV to join the circus when it first came out. Don't really like playing that table, so again, stopped trying.
I'm honestly kinda over going for wizard goals...
It's strange, but something always looks 'off' with CC in digital form. It felt that way in VP too. When I finally got to play one, and then when I saw it once again at FarSight Studios, I was struck visually by how it's almost a living cartoon. That's the only way I can describe it. In the...
