You're in luck. Centaur is confirmed and is going to happen this year. It was voted on by this community and narrowly (and I mean narrowly) beat out Eight Ball Deluxe.
I've noticed those as well. They're a bit distracting.
On the plus side there is enormous attention to detail on this table. Notice the screws at the bottom of the backglass. They're flat head. If you look at newer tables you'll see phillips head screws. I found that small detail to be pretty...
While I am also frustrated with the whole Greenlight process and the obstacle it represents, I don't know that I would say Valve is blind to quality. They themselves develop some of the best video games out there, hands down.
Hmmm... Alright, I'm leaving out any tables that are already highly suspected to be in the queue like Champion Pub or Whitewater (even though they aren't confirmed, yet.)
Here's my list in no order aside from the fact that I want BK2K and Fish Tales the most:
Black Knight 2000
Fish Tales...
In the jet bumpers, there was a little rubber barrier that protected the ball from draining too easily. It was later removed from production machines and stored inside the cabinet to give owners the option of installing it. Most machines don't have it installed, but it was on the playfield on...
To be honest, I have no idea. Maybe someone else can chime in.
Personally, I wouldn't mind Sorcerer, but I love the fantasy genre. I'm really hoping Farsight will also release other awesome '80s fantasy based tables, like Swords of Fury.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this will be the first table pack to not feature a DMD machine, won't it?
Also, this leaves just Pin-Bot, Space Shuttle, Whirlwind, Sorcerer and Jive Time from the William HoF, and I think I read somewhere that there are no plans for Jive Time. Did I imagine that or...
Device: Nexus 7
OS: JB 4.2.1
Bug: On Genie, when the ball goes over the rollover and back down towards the plunger, if and only if the plunger is pulled back before the ball gets to the bottom, then when the plunger is released the ball just kind of jerks and the plunger must be pulled again...
I think part of that is due to the fact that the final camera angles won't show the full apron so it's really not even an issue. The current camera angles in the 1.10.0 beta are just placeholders. If it's still a problem with the new build, then I'd report it.
I have found that when I play real pinball I drain a lot early on until I can get used to the increased difficulty of real machines, but after a while I start doing considerably better. There's no doubt that playing virtual pinball games has made me a better player overall.
Alright, after over an hour of watching videos of the real tables being played, I'm going to have to retract my statement about them feeling "floaty." AFM still seems a little difficult to cradle balls compared to the other games on TPA, but to be honest, that just puts it closer to the real...
Definitely, definitely worth $2 in my opinion. $2 is an ATM fee or a small bag of chips.
I personally find the older tables to have a very appealing novelty to them, which is funny, because for a long time I found them to be boring and featureless. Then I got hooked on Black Hole and Big Shot...
I run into the same issue and the same fix works for me. Rotate too many times, app goes black. Minimize and then restore and everything returns to normal.
