If you attempt to update MM to the Pro edition, it will go into the "upgrade loop" where it says there is an update. But if you try to update, there is nothing to download and you won't be able to play MM or BoP anymore, even though BoP has no pro version. Just leave MM as the non-pro...
Highspeed sounds pretty bad. It sounds like someone stood a couple feet away from a real Highspeed pin and recorded the sound on their cell phone. It sounds much better in VP and on the 5 separate real life tables I've played.
Do they use the actual ROM sounds? Because I've noticed many...
No.
Pro Mode allows you to alter from the default settings. The highscores are invalid because you could make the game easier. That's why Pro Mode disables leaderboards and the "official" leaderboards and stuff.
In my opinion, they should just give you Pro Mode when you buy the table. No...
Hmm.....didn't notice the ball disappearing on BK2K myself. It does move pretty fast though. It's a lot more fun than I remember it being when I played it through VP.
Did they fix the upgrade loop issue with the USA Medieval Madness Pro version on the Vita? I'd hate to try it and find out...
Yep, Centaur's sound is goofed. It's like they altered the voice channel of the sound effect and other sounds cause it to stop because they are using the same voice channel. Doesn't do that on the PS3 version. It doesn't effect gameplay, but it is sorta disconcerting to have periods of dead...
One nice thing about the Vita, its updates always come with actual information about the update, unlike the PS3 where it only gives you a version number and no info.
The update added support for 4 new tables:
Black Knight 2000
WHOdunnit?
High-Speed
JunkYard
No other updates or fixes...
Nice to hear they're being released tomorrow. I know what I'll be doing when I get home from work. Although I'm wondering if I should wait to see if people have any issues with the releases first.....not gameplay, but install issues.
I hope they fix that Pro version issue with MM/BoP on...
All I know is that whatever tables get released for PS3/Vita will be purchased by me insantly.
Also hope they fix the Vita version of Medieval Madness upgrade loop issue. If I try to upgrade to the pro mode, then I get stuck in an upgrade loop and can't play it. I've been stuck with the...
Oh man! VP has been on my PC's since forever. A few years back, I used to hang at vpforums quite a bit. They used much older forum software than they do now. I haven't really visited there in.....years now. Wow! it really has been like 2-3 years.....or more......goodness. I actually...
I've beaten those video modes on both PS3 and Vita.
For Walk the Plank, wail on the flipper buttons as fast as you can.
The other two, you just have to hit it at the correct place in the animation. Once you determine the timing, they're pretty easy.
Practice makes better.....
Yeah, that was me in the Vita patch thread who can't update Medieval Madness to the pro version. If I do, then Bride and MM go into the "upgrade loop". Bride has no pro mode, as far as I know. It's only affected because it's part of the table pack with MM.
I was able to install all of...
Man! There's like 8 of those soccer tables. Milking it hard, aren't they?
I think I'm done with Zen. Guess I'm a pinball purist or something. Love TPA, but Zen tables just don't do it for me and I can't put my finger on exactly why this is. Even with all the effects and features that can't...
Well, it seems I cannot have pro mode for Medieval Madness. As soon as I install the Medieval Madness pro upgrade, then Bride of Pinbot and Medieval Madness will go into the never-ending upgrade loop. I've tried through the PS3, through the UI on the Vita and through the download list, As...
