So as mentioned on Blahcade Podcast #21, Farsight had a deal for 5 tables.
We've had Bram Stoker's Dracula and Starship Troopers, what does everyone think the other 3 are most likely to be? I'm guessing:
1. Mary Shelly's Frankenstein
2. Johhny Mnemonic
3. Last Action Hero
Wonder if they'll do...
Hmm just read that on Facebook too, doesn't sound good.
Lee Baker asked: "Gotta ask...any progress with cab support? With Zen adding the option to move the Dmd to a second screen, it improved realism, and provided a better gaming experience as the dmd no longer got in the way or took up screen...
Great function as always, much preferred the venue to the hotel (much more room and ventilation!), a couple of great surprise pins which weren't on the list (Cactus Canyon, T2, Fish Tales)
Thanks for bringing this to my attention invitro - that'll teach a Brit for doing this list! I'll move it to the other thread I've done with licensed pins still remaining.
Quick thankyou to everyone involved with Pinball Arcade Fans - not sure who pays to host the site, but it's very much appreciated.
Thanks also to the Mods and for keeping everything running in order and improving the site as times gone by and for everyone who contributes.
I probably spend as...
I fully support seeing the bug lists, that way if Farsight ever have any free resources over the month they have something to refer to.
Keep up the good work Pinballwiz45b
So after a ton of research, I decided I couldn't afford to buy a new PC, and I'd have a stab at upgrading my 7 year old Dell Vostro 200 Slim Tower for a fraction of the price.
Huge gamble as have never replaced PC components before, and it's an ancient system.
Upgraded RAM from 2gb to 4gb...
I'm with pm1109 & Gorgar - think Eight Ball Deluxe has got to be a high probability due to the following reasons;
It's not a DMD
It's not licensed
It's quite highly rated (Pinside #76, IPDB #114)
It's frequently requested
It's probably cheaper for Farsight to buy a physical machine then a lot...
Time for a bump :) - From today's newsletter:
"We announced two Christmases ago that we were working on User Interface 2.0 for The Pinball Arcade. We know the fans have been waiting, and we know how you feel!
We are very proud to announce that a much improved and highly functional User...
Echo mdscales point here, would be great if the sound could be modded, Pro Pinballs flipper sounds in place of TPA's for example would be welcome.
Modding games generally is part of what PC gaming is all about - other than GTA V, look at Skyrim, Doom, Portal for example.
So long as nothing's...
Although not strictly a halloween game, I'd rather have The Shadow this halloween given the chance over the other 3 options. Failing that TFTC as it's mentioned all the time since "Pinball After Dark" was rumored.
Tales from the Crypt and the original Simpsons (With TSPP kickstarter to get the rights) would make great Data East tables for next season fingers crossed
Agreed, I like appreciation threads. Don't forget you can play anywhere on mobile devices and imagine how much all of these tables would cost to buy at the current going market rate? (Care to fill us in Farsight:-) Even if you value each table at $1k which is extremely low, that's over $50k...
