This is exactly the model that retail furniture stores use when they constantly go out of business, then get purchased by "another company" and then just open another furniture store in the same place with the same staff.
If they make such a change, they must reset the leaderboards.
Same goes for an operator who makes a big change to a game or something is fixed, reset the high scores.
I'm certain those places wouldn't be around. The amount of people that I've met at tournaments that got into pinball because of Pinball Arcade, or the previous disc games on PS2/Wii/whatever are no small amount.
Older games can replace this rule with shooting spinner or drop targets.
But eh, you can't "win" at pinball unless there is a ruleset, other than just doing anything. The same would be true of any video or board game of this nature. Is it possible to win at Pac-man? What constitutes winning at...

Yes I know there is a set pattern to use. I know about it from the actual game, but i didn't care enough to cheat my way through it by following a move list I found online.
I wanted to mention into here, the only game I can think with a difficult Standard Goal. Being Star Trek TNG, not just starting video mode, but completing it. It took me a long time to get through that and I eventually did it on accident.
For Winter Sports recreation table, you can see the boot up sequence when you enter the room. It shows the ROM version screen, then "Magic Pixel Present" and then instead of the game name (Winter Sports) it says Dummy.
