Melons and Buck
I have to say that I've been enjoying both Melons and Buck. The former is definitely old-school, but Buck is quite deep and challenging. I like both titles much more than, say, Banzai Run or Pistol Poker...
Some tables seem to need ball saves more than others, depending on the layout. In Banzai, the balls seem to zoom right down the middle very easily. Bummer!
I put in some time playing this last table of Season 7 yesterday, and my impression is it's an interesting table with one unfortunate drawback that keeps it from approaching greatness.
That is, no mulligan ball when you lose a ball right after launch!
Is this the way the original (actual)...
Well Done!!!
This is excellent -- I wish every TPA owner would vote.
Your tabulations also reaffirmed my impressions that many of the latest tables suck, for the most part.
Fathom? Yuck... Spanish Eyes... Eww...

Frankly, Farsight owes the PS4 community an apology for the months or years of poor support.
If Tom can turn things around, great.
But when a consumer pays good money for a product, one expects a good product.
Until very recently, Farsight wasn't...
Yes, we're getting a few answers, but so far we've also gotten more bugs -- including two unplayable older games -- and still no fixes to the lighting issue.
Do you work for FS, or are you a friend of Tom's?
Otherwise, we can always take our rants to a more open forum like FB, if that's what...
The Squeaky Wheel
Sorry, Arthur, but I don't think the poster's anger is misspent. You know the old saying that the squeaky wheel gets the oil, and FS owes us PS owners a lot of oil after years of bugs, delays, and inadequate communication.
Let us hope this new guy Tom can turn the situation...
Zzzzz
I'm afraid I've been finding most of the new tables kind of a snooze myself. I don't know that any of these -- even the mighty Ghostbusters -- are on the same level as some of the classics from earlier seasons like Addams Family or Theater of Magic.
Surely there must be more great...
Other Rush Issue
Yes, and also restore the program's ability to remember user-selected brightness settings. To combat the lighting problem, for some months now I turned up the room brightness to 80%, which IMO seems to help. After the latest update, it's been a pain in the butt to have to...
I do have to ask -- is Tom the only guy at FS who works on the PS4 releases? I wonder what sort of QA team FS has at its disposal. If they don't do this already, I think they should give TPA with all its tables new and old to a panel of kids -- interns or relatives of FS staffers, perhaps...
Lighting Fix
Tom, please restore the program's ability to remember the lighting settings we select from one play session to the next. Having to re-enter the settings every time is a real drag... Thank you.
And I'm sorry if it sounds as if I'm dumping all my frustration on you, but you must...
I'm so disgusted that FS can't seem to put out an update that isn't riddled by bugs. I have only played the new tables -- plus the ones already cited as having problems, notably Firefly and Elvira -- but the lighting problem alone, which was supposed to be fixed, seems worse than ever, now that...
Jan 9
Hallelujah -- something to look forward to in the new year!
According to the latest email from FS, a whole slew of new tables will be coming to PS4 on Jan 9.
These are famous last words, but let's hope things work out for a change...
I just got an email from FS that seemed to say new releases (perhaps including the missing tables from Season 6) are coming to PS4 soon.
Does anybody have any further information on this splendid alleged turn of events?
The reason I'm *****ing about $10 for a single table is that TPA has typically sold non-premium tables for around $5.
I'll happily buy GB if a non-premium version comes out at that price.
Of course, FS chooses to release the premium version first with no mention of whether a non-premium...
Really?
$10 for the Ghostbusters Premium table on PS4?
PASS!
I'll pay $5 for a non-premium edition, if that ever comes out...
And no, I don't want GB in a bundle with games I already have in TPA.
Obviously the Addams Family table isn't the only thing in pinball with a GREED mode...
