As much as I like the new UI (not perfect, but a major improvement), it's really hard for me to play right now. The game hard crashes about every other goal I complete, for seemingly no reason. No other crashes besides this, it's just every other or so goal completed will hard crash. So going...
Some of these are alright, but the achievments that are just "do 1000000 of a menial task" are usually pretty bad. I like that TPA already has a bunch of great goals in their own standard/wizard goals system, but extra things could be fun.
Creature from the Black Lagoon v Champions Pub - Creature is great, but I can never seem to wrap my head around it fully. I understand the table, but something just doesn't... click. And while both tables are funny, I find Champion Pub to tickle my fancy more. And I love all the silly toys and...
I think most System 11's are a given at this point, at least the more well-known ones like Earthshaker, Banzai Run, BK2K, High Speed, F-14... I'd love to see Rollergames as well. That table looks seriously fun.
Big shot's just a simpler table, that is better for it. It's just got a tight, skill-based, easy to understand but incredibly fun and just plain solid gameplay. El-Dorado has a stranger layout, more going on on the sides, and is actually slower as well. Big Shot is just fast, fun, and furious...
I love drop targets, and the table is actually PLAYABLE this time (seriously, try playing this on gottlieb PHOF... yuck.), but in the end I do find it rather dull. There's... not a lot to shoot for, and it's just not exciting. I absolutely adore big shot, and even central park can be good for a...
I dunno, I think individual table buying would be nice, albeit messy for stores. And actually pointless for me -- I'm with Bowflex on this one, I'm such a pinball addict that I'd buy a pack that was Popeye and Spy Hunter...just to support Farsight, TPA, and get me some extra pinball, even if it...
Moving from 360 to my kindle, I thought they had just made BH easier for mobile devices and never bothered to check. Then the PC version comes along and it's like that too, so I look it up and lo and behold, they just fixed a broken table. It really DOES change how you play that one too! Quite...
PS4 TPA looks so pretty... not enough to get one, but it might be time to upgrade my gaming desktop to handle such settings in the future... Damn you farsight, stop making me throw money at you. And my computer. And you again. ;)
Actually, the Wii version of Gottleib is pretty solid. It's got those few extra tables too, like a couple other versions did. I forget which ones. I have a copy of the Xbox Gottleib collection though and... yeesh.
Williams collection was a VAST improvement. And playing it on the go on my PSP...
AFM can be really hard in real life just due to... real life. In the end TPA is so much more controllable tables will be easier by default to a degree, but I believe it was said somewhere on this site by a dev that they DO make tables a bit easier than in real life. This might change table to...
I just hope they cool it on the Gottleib finally. I'm getting really burned out on them... I know they have Ace High left to do but hopefully that's the last Gottleib for a while.
Personally? I'm fine without it. For me, TPA is all about the pinball - it's a hardcore pinball sim, through and through. Tight gameplay and accuracy is what I'm here for, so I'm not too much for the bells and whistles. While I understand the complaints, I know I'm not alone in this opinion...
It depends on what else you're looking to use said tablet for. Kindle Hire HD, as a tablet, is lacking. As a multimedia device, it is fantastic. I use mine mostly for reading and occasionally video and I love it for that, but it lacks a lot of versatility a full tablet has to offer (unless you...
Creature. I actually just had an 800m point game -- on accident, and I kinda get how to get good scores now, but man. I am not good at that table usually.
