Hi,
I´ve searched this forum and found a thread about the same topic, but rather old:
http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/67-Mechanical-sound-delay
The problem is that STILL on Android Version 4.4.4 (KitKat on nexus 7 (2012) and nexus 5 in my case) there is a significant sound delay...
Same thing happened to me yesterday on Android ... don´t like Taxi too much but have it another shot yesterday and managed to get to the highscore list just to discover I simply can´t enter my initials because it starts adding players for a new game instead... WTF? Googled my way up here to the...
Sorry for the late reply - and Thanks for your answer.
I´m pretty sure the light WAS on when I was hitting that target, but I´m not 100% sure if I had a ball locked at that time. Will observe again..
take care,
FF
Hi all,
two quick questions about the TPA rendition of this pinball machine:
1. blue light lower middle: I see that light is constantly on, what does it show? What does it do?
2. Flashing release target: the manual says that if I´m able to hit the upper right release target when it´s blinking...
Hi,
I'm so happy that Centaur is finally available, it was my favorite pinball table
When I was a kid. But my impression is that the gravity /downforce is a tad too low
On that table, compared to the real thing. The ball is too bouncy.
It would be awesome if the gravity /vertical table tilt...
Keep in mind that we´re in the Android section of this forum ... I was only talking about the ANDROID version of TPA vs. Zen HD, i don´t know if it´s useful to mix the different versions since the physics engines of zen2 or TPA on PS3 or XBOX might not be fairly comparable... just a thought.
Thanks Matt for your kind response. Maybe I´ll give some of the newer tables a try. I was put off by the physics of the tables i tried, and was not aware that the simulation quality can vary between tables, my guess was that the physics engine was identical for all tables.
Wow, I thought this was a friendly community of pinball fans, seems it´s not.
I was talking about the general Android input lag compared to other mobile OS like IOS or Windows Mobile. It´s there, and it´s annoying. Ever tried - for a example - to play a mulit touch drum app on Android? it´s...
I couldn´t agree more - the physics engine of the Android app/tables is far from being realistic, and by far the worst of all pinball simulations I´ve played.
One thing that constatly makes me cringe is when the ball comes down one of the side lanes with VERY LOW speed and "clawls up" the...
Hi all,
recently got a Nexus 7 32 GB and after reading all the praise about Pinball Arcade on Android (I´m 45 and loved to play Pinball as a kid, my favorite table is Bally´s Centaur) I went for it. But I must say I´m majorly disappointed. The general Android touch input lag (only a few...
