Farsight's Official Pre-1980 Poll
I like to see older tables, but they don't give as much "bang for the buck" as newer tables. I'd love to see Pinball Arcade return to something they used to do back in Seasons 1 and 2: if the table was older (or a reprint of what they had already released earlier on disc for game consoles)...- Krellan

Xenon is a beautiful piece of artwork in real life. The "infinity lighting" backglass, and the super detailed playfield artwork, really make this game stand out. It really impressed me when I was younger. Unfortunately, it isn't that great to play. There's only 2 shots on the game: the ramp...- Krellan

Capcom emulation is already a reality
Very interesting how sound was sampled from only one speaker. That would explain the corrupted jackpot sound in TZ, among other things. WMS used a crossover, to split the audio frequencies, even though it was mono, as you know. Some games used this effectively, to give an illusion of stereo...- Krellan

Perhaps TPA should take a strategy from the world of first-person shooters. Record the player input of the entire game, as well as the seed values of any random number generators that the game uses. Then, the entire game can be replayed later on, at will, by anybody else, since all necessary...- Krellan

Interesting. I remember reading elsewhere though that iOS was known for having customers who were actually willing to spend money, compared to Android! Developers were saying that iOS was where the money is, so they were willing to spend more time/effort creating a quality title. Is this... -

Classic Stern Poll - Official FarSight Poll (Closed)
I'm really hoping the "Big 3" Stern games get made: Seawitch, Stargazer, and Nine Ball (in that order). Meteor is also fun, but might be too easy. Galaxy is also fun, but very simplistic. I'd rather not see Flight 2000 as the first title, because there's a lot of other games Stern made that...- Krellan
