I haven't read every post here, but I think my list may have a few oddballs...
1) Baby Pac-Man - Don't know why but I love this game. Simple, but the perfect mix of video game and pinball.
2) Blackwater 100 - Can't even imagine how Farsight would handle the camera angles, but I love that...
I've got two:
1) In the early 80's, I was a little kid with an Atari and I remember playing Pinball (yes, that was the entire name of the game) for hours on end. I was so proud of myself back then when I learned how to nudge the ball and could get it to bounce up and down through the...
So, since it's 'coming soon'... can we get a teaser image? Say one of the DMD's you created of one of the doctors? Figure it couldn't hurt to ask, right?
In no particular order:
Banzai Run - Sure it's a gimmick, but I like the vertical playfield
Radical! - Love the mini-ramp lower left
Blackwater 100 - Chaotic fun, but the graphics are muddy... (did you see what I did there?)
Hardbody - Seriously! Played this when I was younger and I thought it...
It's an stale thread, but why not?
1) Central Park - Boring game play for me. Big Shot at least makes the upper spot drop targets, giving you a sense of completion. That, and flippers that don't let you really do anything.
2) El Dorado - Either of them (or both!). I just don't get the...
I personally can't wait as this was the table that got me to fall in love with pinball. I played the table in my college arcade pretty much daily!
Just a word of advice to whoever does any writing for the Kickstarter page... The main character's name is "the Doctor" or just plain "Doctor"...
It's a bit late and I thought the issue done but... after the Fish Tales update, everything is working fine again! Not sure what that was all about. I'm still intending to get a new iPad, of course, but now I have a little time.
Just my luck, though. I started on the XBox 360 and that's...
FarSight is not going to sell table individually (except for the Kickstarter tables, and I completely understand that one). The reason comes down to economics. They would, most likely, lose money if they did this. Allow me to demonstrate.
First off, let me say the following is proof of...
No, my device is not jail broken, it doesn't have a single thing on it's criminal record.
As for the iPad 1 being left behind... I was afraid of that, though I can't really say I'm surprised.
Before I start, let me say that I LOVE the tables in TPA. They are recreated with such detail and while I haven't played most of them in a real arcade, I feel like I'm getting a great recreation and a great experience. The tables are rendered beautifully and the physics seem, for the most...
I spoke with the sound guy for Farsight (Norman, I think?) at the Pacific Pinball Expo a few months ago and he mentioned that he wanted to do BK2000 sooner rather than later. And I could see why the sound guy would be all over this table...
I agree with what others have said here; after a while I'm able to tune out the background music for Goin' Nuts.
The background 'music' that I really can't stand is Firepower. And that one, for some reason, I cannot tune out. It just gets more and more and more annoying the faster the sound...
