Same thing happened to me: to acknowledge the log-in status I had to start the game in windowed mode, because it's not possible to switch between Windows desktop and the game in full screen mode without troubles.

I've tried the Table Exploration with the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" table but it's not quite the thing I had in mind: I don't know if it's just me, but I can't explore the whole Pinball table, just the playing surface (I can zoom in and out, that's all).

With the newly added resolution of 1366X768 game graphics and physics are just fine for me now, even with the post processing option active.
Now, if only you can add a good Anti Aliasing option to smoothen up the whole thing it would be near perfect
