I have a reasonably new iPad 2 with iOS 10.3.2 installed. I haven't played TPA very much the last year due to a combination of too many bugs, boring tables and more going on my life I guess, but when I got back to play it with this new iPad I realized that the movements were incredibly jerky...
Is it just me or is the HOF-leaderboard not updating at all. My HOF-score hasn't been updated for some 3-4 days now, and it seems like none around my place is getting updated either.
Is there a bug going on or is it just my score that is not getting updated?
In a way to find tables in which I could improve my HOF-points on I thought it should probably be the ones in which I had the worst leaderboard scores. I thought that if I had done exceptionally bad on one table, there would likely be room for improvement. This led to a new type of goal for me...
I never really play Zen on my iPad. I find the physics being really weird on them. I get tempted though since I am a great fan of South Park and Walking dead. Since the discussion here is so often that "we can't do that because of the expensive license". How come they can? Without kickstarters?!
aka. Official "clicking App Store-app to see if TPA has been updated before App Store has found the update itself"-thread.
Will it take one extra week again? Will this be something we have to get used to? I guess we have been spoiled for a while compared to other platforms but still, it is a...
I noticed that the HOF Leaderboard has been "broken" for quite some time now. I seem to remember they cleaned it once in a while before, right? It would be so simple to add a constraint:
Highscore <= "number of tables" x 1.000
in order to eliminate (almost) all but the real ones. It wouldn't...
In the beginning I didn't use nudging at all but quickly realized how important it is. Now, I use the side nudges 90% of my nudges and the up-nudge on 10% but never ever the diagonal nudge. Basically because I can't reach them without letting go of my grip of the iPad (I always play in Portrait...
This really isn't a bragging thread. I really didn't think I outperformed today at all, I am merely puzzled.
I played Centaur for the first time in over a year today. I remember this being quite an easy table, I used to have a 19M high score that put me on #250 on the leaderboard. My first game...
I think I have understood how the 100k skill shot works. It actually IS consequent but the sweet spot to hit 100k is incredibly small. Basically, it is so small so that if you release while moving your thumb (on mobile devices) you may move out of that sweet spot and hit 5/25. For me I find this...
I have noticed on several tables that if you pass 10M, 100M, 10B etc your scores will not appear in the local high score. This is a known bug and has been around for ages and seems to be dependent on what the table ROM can handle. Nuff said.
What I don't understand is why this would affect the...
I recently bought a new iPad and transferred all my tables and records. I realized today however that all tables from season one (include ToM, Totan etc) have not been included. I can find them under Season One and if I try to play them I get that popup asking if I want to purchase this table...
I guess there isn't much to it rather than practise to get the right timing, but still, do you have any tricks to make that 5M ramp goal? I believe two balls ramping at the same time is to prefer since it allows for one bad shot while still having the chance to continue. This, however, could...
I used the mini-flipper in the beginning but since it (on an iPad) includes quite a bit of risk of moving my hand setting - I don't. The only thing I see it can be used for is to shoot directly from the Recon-hole to that left hole (that ups your rank).
It has been discussed in the previous threads under General Discussion but let's have a specific thread about it. How do you manage the 5 planet goal?
My plan so far has been to go for the ramps and try to get Recon 1 (Spot Species) or Recon 3 (Spot planet) as often as possible. Scoring many...
I couldn't find this old thread to follow who had a perfect All Wizard Goal Done record. I used to be a part of this prestigious club but since the coming of Phantom of the Opera (2) and now also Starship Troopers (1) - I am now three behind. This makes my efforts of finishing the 3M-Genie goal...
I haven't been able to figure out what this Wizard Goal actually means. Does it mean you need to shoot 5 nukes on one planet or nuke at least once on every planet (basically going to Planet P)? What if one planet is skipped?
I couldn't contribute much to this other than to nudge heavily and go for the mid ramp as much as possible.
Do you guys have any advices on how to get the super duper etc jackpot WG? I kind of just try to play the balls in panic and try to cradle if I'm down to 2 balls.
Is there any way to...
I was just on a looong run of Junk Yard and was up to 460M when I had to pause the game. Came back and the screen was all black (a crash I had never seen before).
Soooo annoying. I should've just let the game end instead, I was getting seriously tired of it by then anyway. Lesson learned...
