Is there a button/flipper delay or is it just me?

Windowed mode appears to work for me as well. Does that imply that flipper lag is due to a lack of horsepower?

Is there a button/flipper delay or is it just me?

Getting a slight delay here as well. When I try and make shots off the tip of the flipper, the damned ball rolls right off into the drain. :p It's making me look like an amateur. I'm using a wireless 360 controller, old Dell monitor. Comp specs were top of the line... 3 years ago. I recall...

Bug Dr. Dude - Multiball camera sticks...

Still having this problem with iPad 3 - latest version. Kind of keeps me away from the table. The 2 ball multiball is hard enough - being handicapped by the mixmaster cam is just brutal.

Documentary on Licensing Seeks Questions on Star Trek: TNG and Terminator 2

BTW, is this documentry for some sort of coursework or will this be something available for purchase?

Documentary on Licensing Seeks Questions on Star Trek: TNG and Terminator 2

If your time is limited (and you're simply looking for raw data) you should reference the interview he did with TopCast I believe. He went in depth re: T2 and somewhat with STTNG. I recall his story about sitting down with James Cameron (SP?) and really getting to talk about how the pin would...

Looping for trapdoor more difficult - has the sound/visual changed.

Good call Pin WiZ. I just fired up the 360 to confirm. The ball drops down with much less zip. Plenty of time to react. I just watched a few FH videos at PAPA's video site... Can't say I reached any conclusions. Sometimes, the ball seemed to drop down like the 360 version. Other times, it came...

Looping for trapdoor more difficult - has the sound/visual changed.

AHH! I thought it was just me. So happy to see this thread! My trap door shot was always weak from day 1 - maybe a 40% success rate. But I decided to try and extend my FH high score today after not playing for a few weeks, and MAN! I'm sucking over here! I can't figure out what's changed, but...

    National Pinball Museum Closing

CRAP! I was planning a trip there to balance out a not-as-fun trip to the National Aquarium. The good news is it sounds like they're looking to relocate. Hopefully somewhere a bit easier for me to get to.

    Dr Dude forum board

I actually love the theme - in a nostalgic way. Enough time has gone by in that we can laugh at the whole 80s/90s spin seen here. 10 years ago, probably a different story. I'd even debate buying a real one, but the table it way too shallow to make it into my future collection. Reminds me of...

    Bug iOS Version 1.2.4 Bugs

Came here to report the same problem (same version/ipad). Happened to me twice so far. I believe I had just drained a multiball with 1 ball locked. I don't now what's supposed to happen in that case (locked ball enters play?) but I'm pretty sure the game isn't supposed to just sit there. ;)...

Thinking about getting a Star Trek: TNG Pinball Machine

Isn't STTNG notorious for being a tough pin to own (from a maintenance standpoint)? I recall hearing/reading a story once - can't recall the source/details... someone went to a pinball show and was getting something autographed by Steve Ritchie and they mentioned they owned a STTNG, and Steve's...

    New interface thoughts and comments.

Music is definitely cool. Certainly beats hearing TOTAN all the time. I'm guessing we're hearing a Pinball Wizard arrangement... Can't quite place some of the other themes.

How Many Pinball Manufacturers Could The Industry Support?

That would be really cool. I'd love to put something like that together. As long as it was relatively simple assembly (no soldering for example) I'd love it. Pricing out the VirtuaPin, I'm already looking forward to buying the cheap unassembled cab and putting it together. That's half the fun...

Anyone consider leaving 360 for WiiU? (re: TPA)

Yeah - I'll be headed to PC as well, but primarily for a cabinet build. But that process could take several months (I don't want to be the first one!) so until all the bumps are ironed out and someone has documented a good build process, the console will be my primary method of play.

Anyone consider leaving 360 for WiiU? (re: TPA)

I actually am quite confident we'll see more TPA DLC for the 360 sooner than later. My bigger concern is the 360 patch/DLC process. The rumored $40000 submission fee, the unknown approval time, the rumored non-monthly DLC... If the 360 platform is going to be behind, well, FOREVER, then it makes...

How Many Pinball Manufacturers Could The Industry Support?

That's actually a damn good idea - just like in Pinball2000. The cabinet and associated components have got to be a big chunk of the purchase. I was pricing cabs for a TPA build at http://www.virtuapin.net/ and they want $1000 for an empty "finished" cab. So if one could swap out the game field...

How Many Pinball Manufacturers Could The Industry Support?

Stern has them- http://www.sternpinball.com/Games/pinball-redemption-kit.aspx I haven't seen one in the wild though. Redemption isn't "saving" pinball, but cheaper, less maintenance intensive machines would help. I have a friend in coin op - they refuse to keep pins because they require too...
