i can not do a cradle separation on any sort of virtual pinball the type of movement to pull that off just isn't there, as in real pinball you don't even see the flipper move really i also lose the ball in the drain sometimes when it comes down the lane towards a cradled flipper trying to do...

personally i would love buttons for flippers and nudge. in my opinion touch controls make me cover up the game with my giant thumbs

i have an xarcade but never used it on the ps3. i would imagine that as long as you are able to remap the buttons on the software side you will be ok if not, use the internal memory stuff on the stick to change the buttons ....but that is a pain. you have to remember there are no analog sticks...
