I know nothing of programming but I know that in some games there are ways to make games work more smoothly when you're able to allow the program to use more RAM. Can this be done in order to avoid the game from slowing down from time to time?
My problem is different, but relates to updates as well. I use the Mac App store and I downloaded the update and bought Doctor Who on my MacBook Pro, but the App Store on my Mac Pro doesn't show the update yet and it's been more than a day. I thought this was odd but I don't have any idea how...
I didn't really find anything in the forums here on this but, my mac won't download the newly purchased table because it claims I already own all the tables and season 4 is greyed out. I haven't been able to download the games I've paid for since The Adam's Family and I've bought all of them...
I found this thread because I was specifically searching for the bug that's preventing me from getting the Frenzy standard goal. It's my last standard goal before going to wizard and it's really frustrating. I've done it about seven times now. It Rudy also drains the ball to the left to start...
Anyone know the best way to get this? There isn't really much flipper control and I can't seem to find a way to reliably shoot the ball softly from either flipper. That's the big thing, too. Both flippers can shoot into the passage, but I know one is going to be much better than the other...
I totally agree with you, it's one of y favorite tables. I've heard more than one person say that they just can't play it anymore. They didn't elaborate though. Do people tend to play this game too much and get burned out on it?
When it comes to Funhouse, I feel like I'm gasping for air. There's no room on that board, and it forces me to do the same few things over and over that aren't really even worth much of anything. I may go back and take a look at the rules and give it another try.
Oh, I don't doubt it. It's not that I thought it was unrealistic, it's that other tables don't have something at that angle that will knock it straight back and through the middle. In fact, I see that around here a lot. That tables are easier or different in some way than in real life. I...
Yeah, that's the most shocking part of the table. You hit the ball with your right flipper at a normal angle, it hits the bumper and flies straight back and through your flippers. Also, I think this game drains balls without you ever getting a chance to hit them way more than most tables...
After posting I decided to go back to it again. Definitely a table you have to get used to and I am, slowly but surely. Still don't see how anyone could say it's easy though. I'm looking forward to this white ball. Now it won't be as much of a shock.
The biggest shocker ever I think, is the...
I've read quite a few posts in which people talk about easy games that last forever, such as "The Twilight Zone". What?! I have all the tables and this is one of the hardest and most frustrating to me. Please, someone agree! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!
Also, have you experienced...
I wasn't previously aware of this, but apparently you can put pinball game software on a totally different table. I frequent a bar that changes tables pretty often (3 at a time) and yesterday I went in and found that they had gotten a Shrek table. Apparently, the other regular players were...
This is exactly why pinball was banned in the states for 30 years. Pinball was suddenly considered gambling (even though you don't win anything). Same deal too. There weren't any flippers or anything, it was all chance. Not sure how that became popular in the first place, honestly.
