Hi Mike Lindsey.
I’m glad to see a lot of generated interest in some of these older pinball tables from many of my fellow forum members. I admitted that Paragon probably had the best game play from round 1 in the pre- 80s pinball “list” voting poll. My pick was William’s Flash from the first...
“Heretic’s” Paragon has inline drop targets. I read where MontanaFrank also enjoys inline drop targets as well. You also enjoy the inline drop target bonus multipliers in Eight Ball Deluxe.
Hey Farsight! Thank you for Xenon but how about throwing us another bone… another solid state pinball...
Another pool theme pinball table…
I’d love to see Eight Ball Deluxe come to The Pinball Arcade. The earlier solid state pinball tables are the best. I think that if Farsight would slow down that ball on Big Shot and tweak it to simulate electro- mechanical physics a little more realistically…...
I can only hope that Farsight continues to have poll considerations for upcoming pinball releases from the mid 1980s and earlier. If I had to choose my favorite pinball release period- it would be between the years of 1979 – 1981… the old Atari 2600 home game console period. With the exception...
I played off that cry baby theme through post #40… it’s all in good fun. I voted for Paragon. It’s a great pinball!
On the other hand, I avoid Heretic… it seems this member interacts with other member’s blogs… posts and has been known to be rather negative with other members… or so I’ve...
Xenon is catching up to Paragon in the polls so I suppose I’ll vote for PARAGON… even though you have to shake the table like hell-o… to get the ball to go anywhere… but it does have better ball play than Xenon… but if Xenon wins in the polls, we win too because we have Suzanne Ciani’s vocal...
I’m also disappointed that FLASH has been bumped from this list. This great pinball has apparently been long forgotten… 19,505 units produced… 1st commercial pinball with flashing lamps and background audio that increased in pitch as table objectives were achieved and really challenging game...
I signed up on Twitter just to participate in this poll and my tweet never even showed up on Farsight’s Twitter page and I do not do Facebook. Gorgar is my favorite Farsight video rendition pinball “hands down” and back in the day, commercial pinball took a giant leap in audio/ visual...
I'm over 45... unfortunately. I agree with your post. Xenon got to be boring very fast back in the day. I like drop targets which is why I'm partial to Paragon's game play but my passion for pinball really began with the release of Williams FLASH - 1979. It truly did raise the bar in...
Williams Flash – 1979 has my vote. 19,505 produced and they could have made more. Flash - 1979 was the first pinball to have background audio that increased in pitch as you achieved game objectives and also the first pinball to have flashing lamps during game play as well.
It paved the way...
