    Request Who wants TX Sector?

I want it badly, purely to enjoy the music.

    That song...

Usually always before you get to the exciting tapping guitar part - the ball drains and the music resets, denying you the expected rock and roll thrills!

Mac Version 2.10.0 Discussion and Feedback

You'd be better of buying from Steam version than from the Mac App store - at least you have the option to game on PC with potentially a directX11 version to come. The Mac version is continually neglected and seemingly low priority for major updates. Sucks as a customer if you have already...

Mac - OpenEmu emulator and Video Pinball

Today saw the release of OpenEmu, a fantastic emulator release for OS X. Currently enjoying the following, particularly Jaleco's Pinball Quest; which is good fun! Nice silver ball animation with four tables. Devil's Crush and Alien Crush also classic as usual. Nintendo Pinball (1983), not so hot!

    Steam- Mac Version

Anyone feeling any keyboard 'input lag'? Definitely feel it on Fish Tales, seems like the flipper fires late after the key press, making it harder to connect with the ball at the right time.

    Steam- Mac Version

Mac TPA is a solid game, but the poorer cousin of the PC game. The lighting effects really make a huge difference.

    Steam- Mac Version

Good to see that it's 'SteamPlay' - buy the Mac game and you can also download PC version - good job Farsight!

    Steam- Mac Version

Anyone got this working on Steam?- It's listed on Steam for download, claims to have downloaded the game then refuses to start, something about 'missing executable'.

    Steam- Mac Version

Good news I guess, especially for quick updates to the program, but I'd be more excited if improved table lighting was announced. Also, is it part of that Steam feature where purchase one platform you have access to the PC download too?

    Request Dear Farsight...

Check out the lighting on PS4 and PC as comparison to what we are missing out on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xCogyA7zBU

    Request Dear Farsight...

Is it possible to implement PC/Console style lighting on Mac TPA? Tables such as Black Hole / Circus Voltaire are much more atmospheric on the PC than the relatively dull, lifeless counterparts on the Mac.

Does Goin Nuts have the worst music ever for a pinball game?

CIA should set up Goin' Nuts in Guantanamo. A 'Space Shuttle' sound effect loop would be pretty effective too.

    Anti Aliasing works!

If the lighting can be improved, then Mac TPA will be pretty close to the PC version, from screen shots of the PC beta I've seen.

    Anti Aliasing works!

Definitely a difference with an 8800GT video card, Jaggies have now gone on the flippers and the metal rails. Also the level of detail option is set to '1': Post Processing off and AAx8: Post Processing On and AAx8 ('jaggies'):
