...I have a hard time playing Pinball Arcade after Zen Pinball.

The tables in this game are very well made, and I have fun with every single one I bought so far. ...But when Zen Pinball sells all these deep tables with lots of features for one/two bucks, it's hard to justify paying five bucks for much simpler tables in Pinball Arcade. I know there are LOADS...

    Worst Pinball Experience?

Honorable mention I have to give is to this one game that came in a 50,000/70,000 game collection(HUGE exaggeration, there's nowhere near that many games in those collections) called Mega Pinball. There are three tables: A medieval one, a science lab one and a circus one. The real honorable...

    Disappearing Tables?

I play on the Kindle Fire and I haven't bought them. I am considering buying a few tables in a few weeks when I get my next paycheck.

    Pinball featured in commercials?

I know, I mean why does every medicine have to have some indecipherable name? Tylenol, Benadryl, Xyzal, Lansoprazole, Ibuprofen, etc. And those are just the ones off the top of my head.

    Disappearing Tables?

I downloaded Zen Pinball yesterday, and I noticed there were two South Park tables. I played later that day, however, and they were gone! How did that happen?

    Pinball featured in commercials?

Last night I found myself nerd-gasming over a commercial for something (some type of medicine starting with the letter C, I think). It had this old guy who went to the arcade to play Pin-Bot. The commercial showed shots of Pin-Bot's sides and table art, and it was kind of cool seeing a pinball...

    Worst Pinball Experience?

A few days ago, I played Sonic Adventure for the first time. I have no idea why I like the game. It's aged so poorly, yet I still like it. I will say this, though, the Casinopolis pinball tables play horrifically. For a game that prizes itself of its speed, the pinball in this game is...

I don't like beating up the German guy...

Wow, this derailed. Could anyone confirm what I said in my last post?

I don't like beating up the German guy...

According to my dad, Franz Von Pain is supposed to be a spoof of Hanz and Franz from Saturday Night Live.

Why does the Background noise make me chuckle like a perverted teenager?

I don't know why, I feel like I SHOULD be highly annoyed by that constant chopping noise and the loud sound effects, but there's something exhilarating about it. I feel the same about Centaur, I feel like I should hate the sound effects, but I find them thrilling for some reason.

I don't like beating up the German guy...

Glass Joe doesn't talk, though. ...At least not in the NES game. Plus, he's the first opponent, he's SUPPOSED to be easy. Franz Von Pain is usually the third opponent, and I could be wrong but I could swear I heard him say "I don't even have legs, and I still beat you" once. ...Or something like...

Table sounds like it uses the same sound processor as a Sega Genesis

...And I actually kind of like the "Genesis"-esque music, and yet I still wonder... is that even remotely possible for them to have used the same sound processor? Whirlwind kind of had a Sega Genesis sound to it, too.

Was this table canned for being a wide table?

Might also be a beginners table for nudging. From my experience, nudging is absolutely necessary to keep the first ball from draining. This is often considered one of the worst tables in the game, but after playing season two, I'd say I disliked Central Park and El Dorado City of Gold more...

So What's next for the 360?

I think he meant in the XBox 360 version, in which case Xenon is currently unavailable.

    Quite easy, isn't it?

I think the in-lane/out-lane design is one of the things that give this table it's low difficulty and charm. There's a gap inbetween the lanes, but the inlane's designed so the ball can't get out, and there are bumpers in the outlane designed so the ball can POSSIBLY go back in. I actually loved...

Was this table canned for being a wide table?

Actually played it a bit. It's not as bad as I thought it'd be, and I admire the fact it has different rules, though it starts out on Multiball, which is arguably one of the worst aspects of pinball, and you're kind of required to have at least two balls up at a time to keep the timer running...

I don't like beating up the German guy...

Franz Von Pain I think his name is. His voice is just so wimpy, and his face makes him look like a fairly small guy. I almost feel like I'm bullying the dude when I fight him. ...Ironically, I've only fought him twice and lost to time out both times, the only boxer I've ever lost to due to...

Did anyone buy another version of Pinball Arcade after playing PAU

Huh? Did I do something wrong?

Did anyone buy another version of Pinball Arcade after playing PAU

I mean, twenty-two tables for a free game is sweet, and yet... I wanted more. It made me want to buy another version of the game and try out some of the other tables. And frankly, I prefer playing on a controller on my console over a bulky Kindle Fire. It's also nice comparing multiple versions...

    The Pinball Arcade table ratings

That kind of contradicts your last post, though. :P
