Being that the friends list score tables have been completely messed up on PS3/Vita for years, and neither Stern nor TPA doesn't even have a friends list score on Switch, I personally wouldn't even notice if their server was shut down.
It's a shame that nobody could take the time to implement rotation for this in the direction it needs to be. SPA and TPA are the only games that I know of on Switch that don't support rotation in that way. The fact it didn't support vertical mode to start with should have been an omen of things...
Cloda, have you tried going to the Xbox store on a PC browser and adding FX2 to your console's download queue? That's what I had to do to restore my FX2 tables.
This may be a different scenario since it is delisted, but I had to jump through some hoops to get the Street Fighter II table to import into FX2 for Xbox One. I had to turn my console on standby, login to the MS store on my phone, and set it to download from there.
I double checked and you are correct, I was mistaken regarding FX3. A subscription isn't required for just leaderboards access, but is required for anything under the matchmaking or tournaments tabs. Which is rather lame IMO since you're not actually playing head to head against someone, it's...
Just thought I'd mention this since I hadn't seen it brought up yet. With the introduction of Nintendo's paid online service access to TPA/SPA leaderboards is still available even if you don't pay for the online. This applies to a few other games that have leaderboards, like Zaccaria Pinball and...
Like I said, I get that reasoning, but I personally don't think the pros outweigh the coins, and I don't see a technical limitation why it couldn't be designed to hold the console both ways. As it stands right this minute the only game supported that's on a physical cart is the SNK collection...
Yeah, not sure why they would insist on a design that only supports a counterclockwise rotation. Clockwise rotation is the set standard for arcade monitors and is what most software expects. I get that you block the cart slot and headphone jack, but you're already blocking the power and volume...
This time last year I picked up a used Xbox One system and downloaded Pinball FX 2 along with the tables I had purchased a while back on the 360 version. No problems at all getting everything setup.
A few months later I ran out of space on the piddly internal drive and deleted all of FX2 to...
My thoughts exactly, this was a total deal breaker for me as I found the framerate made it totally unplayable for me in portable mode. I gladly preferred the same tables running 60fps on the Vita than with some slight graphical enhancements but half the framerate on the Switch.
I second this...
Am I looking at this right, and in order to purchase the 2 table limited edition packs you've got to own the regular/premium versions of both tables anyway?
If so, I can see that potentially pissing a lot of people off. There's nothing in the eshop description that say's you have to own either...
If it makes you feel any better, the leaderboards are still broken even after the update, or for me at least.
As for your memory card issue there's only one solution; delete everything. TPA requires you to download a huge 3 gig updated install file before it overwrites and deletes the original...
