This. :D
I did ask if there was a running list of issues, mainly so we don’t all report the same stuff or things they already know. Should it exist, I’ll ask them the share with the rest of the testers.
Here's what I can't reconcile. Check out the ladies in the top-left and top-right of the FX3 splash screen. How is what's in MM, AFM, etc any racier than that?
I came here looking for that kind of info on what the exact differences are between Arcade and Tournament Mode are.
Seeing the bubble in the level tells me that Tourney Mode has the tables at steeper angles, but haven’t been able to pick up on much more than that.
Anyone got a list going of...
Can confirm all good here, too, for Star Trek at least. Got a 4-ball Vengance Multiball going and it was smooth.
Also see that the “flashing” during Klingon Multiball is fixed now. Great stuff!
Seems like Farsight could do with a community manager.
While there will always be people who are upset no matter what you do, my 20+ years in tech have shown me that people are pretty understanding if:
a) they are informed about known issues and
b) have some rough estimate of when they will...
Out of curiosity, have you tried to play them in Stern TPA? I wanted to use that as a workaround, but there is no sound and no DMD for many of the tables in the latest Stern TPA. Are you seeing the same?
Update: Nevermind. Just saw your earlier post about being on an older iOS. Sorry.
Haven't gone back to reproduce this, but I noticed when I restored purchases in the Stern PBA app, I saw something similar with the # of tables bought and total dropping alot in PBA. I restored purchases in PBA and that looked to sort it out.
Definitely seems based on this thread that there's...
I have zero data on this helping the Ghostbusters issues, but I have seen issues with speed up/slowdown when things like iMessages come in while playing.
Perhaps turning off background activities - or even putting it in Airplane Mode - might be a (hopefully temporary) workaround.
Only part way through the latest episode, but Jared’s comment about Aussies shortening everything made it imperative I share this so Chris can better speak the language of Oz:
I haven’t upgraded, noticed the total table count dropped to 75. Counting owned vs unowned, sure enough, it’s 75.
If I can muster up enough “give a... um, darn” I’ll catalog what the missing 20 tables are.
If I had to guess, that 20 is likely the WMS/Bally tables I didn’t buy.
Haven't been a fan of Zen to date, but the Aliens pack for the PS Vita was in the latest PSN flash sale, so I picked it up - partly from hearing you and Jared say Aliens is the beginning of the newer era of Zen tables on your podcast (and here you are saying it again :) ).
I've only played the...
Just a note to thank everyone for this thread.
I really wanted to love these tables, but they never felt “right”. With these changes, they feel much better!
Another potential workaround:
Seems like it's a bit of luck-of-the-draw, but if you search for "Pinball Arcade" in the App Store - or visit its page in the App Store - it will give you a tappable to directly buy in in-app-purchase of the table. That'll launch TPA, where it'll pop up a dialog...
Relative n00b here, so apologies if this has been asked before (I did try searching, I promise :)).
Has there been any thought about sparking up a TPA wiki?
With the number of recurring questions, fluidity of information, useful information that gets buried over time, and a whole host of...
