There hasn't been a post on here for a while, but I had a Kinect clarification question. If we are getting a cabinet other than the Ultra, exactly which Kinect do we need to buy and do we have to get additional adapter with it? Basically, what all exactly needs to be purchased to get it up and...
Lights... Camera... Action also in 1989.
According to Wikipedia (although it's not referenced so who knows if it's correct), "Lights... Camera... Action" was pinball's first mode based game." Haven't played it enough to see if it meets all the requirements you defined, but it's another contender.
That seems to capture the spirit of what I'm thinking of. Thanks for formalizing it. [emoji3] It's just such a distinctive shift in how tables were designed, taken to even the next level in digital only tables like Zen, that I was surprised to not be able to find a clear history of that aspect.
I don't have a clear definition partially because I'm guessing it evolved over time but I can give examples. It's pretty clear that DMD really shot storytelling forward since it could be more descriptive. So at one end you have something like Believe it or Not where you're referring 7 continents...
Random pinball history question. What was the first Pinball machine with a story progression to it? Can't seem to find it in any Pinball histories.
There's plenty of machines up to the early 80s with various goals for points and specials. And there's plenty in the late 80s with stories that...
Just downloaded and starting playing these games. I'm really enjoying the tables but I noticed that all my high scores are listed twice. So in essence there are only five high score slots instead of ten. This must be a known bug?
Interesting. I know I bought a couple tables for one of them years ago on my iPad. But for some reason Restore Purchases comes up with nothing for either one on my iPhone. And the high scores don't look right either. I do have good memories of the original three tables. Oh well.
In the iOS App Store there is both a Pinball HD Collection (under Simulation) and Pinball HD (under Arcade). Both seem identical for all intents and purposes. Anyone know the difference between them and is one a better bet to get than the other?
All Bally/Williams tables go away after tomorrow. So any tables in Season 7 that aren't from them will still be around but if you want those you need to buy them today.
Hi. I had a clarification on software support. Far Sight will continue fixing bugs and improving performance issues for Pinball Arcade after June 30th. For the Steam version those fixes will be applied through software updates in typical Steam fashion. But for the Generic Standalone and the...
I just sprung for the Arcooda Pinball Arcade. It has the 76 tables and cabinet mode. From what's I understand, the only Williams/Bally tables not included are the ones on Season 7. So, how worth it is it to get Season 7 for those last tables that are going away on June 30? They won't have...
I used the address on the web page.
44 - 48 Maitland Road
Mayfield East, NSW, 2304
Australia.
The only thing when I ordered that they haven't fully confirmed is that it's fine that the wire transfer funds probably won't be available until after the 30th. But as long as the software was...
