This just started the other day. On each table the ball slows down and speeds up making all tables unplayable. If I delete app and download again will I lose all my saved scores and goals obtained? Could latest software update 7.0.6 be responsible?

Going by the reports, it seems as though the latest TPA update 3.3.1 is more at fault than the iOS update. Others have reported the performance decrease after installing TPA 3.3.1 while under the same iOS version. I have personally reverted back to TPA 3.3.0 (on iPad mini 1st gen) and the performance was restored. See the 3.3.1 bug thread here:

Try doing a hard reset, press and hold the home button and power button at the same time until it restarts.

Worth a shot.

Canuck, I wish that solving the recent iPad2/Mini issues was that simple.
I would normally recommend that you start backing up the app (to have an older version to revert to in case of issues) before updating & replacing it with the "newest" & "greatest" but I doubt that you'd want a backup of 3.3.1.

Maybe start with the NEXT version...

Not if you do the remote save option, and remember your login details for Apple and Farsight.
And to answer the next question: Go to the Main Menu, Options, scroll down until you see Backup Save Data, hit it and select Remote. Then on your new device, go to the Main Menu, Options, scroll down until you see Restore Save Data, hit it and select Remote. It's dead simple.

Thanks for the quick replies. I see this appears to be an issue right now. Hope it's sorted soon as I miss my daily fix. I first noticed the problem last Sunday 2nd March.
