I think the questions that are arising are not that the scores aren't legitimately posted - there's no accusations of hacking - but on the nature of the controller being used that allows the kind of fine-control nudging seen in the videos. Certainly it would be possible to create a controller/control system that simulates precise levels of analog input for nudging, so you get the same results every time. With enough practice and knowledge of how the tilt system in TPA works, you can learn to game the system to such a degree that you legitimately attain almost perfect "ball control". If there's enough evidence in the videos, may I suggest concentrating on the shots made, and come up with some kind of percentage of how often certain shots are made vs not made. That is as true a measure of skill level as any. Games are lengthened by avoiding drains - period. Both ve and TO have stated that the optimum way to avoid drains is to identify the drain probability of certain shots, and to avoid those shots with higher probabilities. So the choice between a 10% drain probability and a 5% drain probability is always going to result in the latter shot being selected, even if it's not as valuable a score. The lesser drain probability means it can be repeated more often. The other way to avoid drains is nudging, but that is not as consistent as shot selection and accuracy. So, study the videos, and ignore the nudging. Having said all that... every game out there has players trying to get an advantage and stay within the bounds of legality - even single-player games where there is no real competition! Ingenuity is part of that.
