Bat-o-meter goal

Now, this is one difficult Wizard Goal. I thought I had it set up to tick it off but I guess I don't understand exactly how this is done.

1. First I had the 3rd row lit.
2. Shot another row of bats
3. Both 3rd and 4th was lit
4. Shot another row of bats. Only 3rd row was lit. All bats were unlit.
5. Shot the left spinner loop.

Nothing happened.

I really don't get this bat-o-meter goal. Could someone explain in detail? (My instructions won't work. Crashes all the time). Any good advice would be nice as well.

The way I got it:

1. Get the 4th row lit
2. Hit the spinner to get the extra ball. The light should go back down to the third row
3. Hit another row of bats. This should light the 5th row instead of the 4th
4. Hit the spinner again to collect the special
