No, there’s a site called renderforrest.com we bought it from. Let’s you load in your logo and then try it out in hundreds of templates. What’s funny is now I’m seeing other people’s vids and recognizing the animation and the music as coming from there. I made at least 25 other videos, this is the one we ultimately agreed on. Price wasn’t terrible, but 1 was all we could afford. Figure if we can make the podcast look more polished, maybe viewers will see value in it and want to support us more. Then we can get even better software and make it better. There’s video studio software I’d love to use that would make our setup so much easier and look way better, but it is very pricey. The ultimate goal would be to easily drop videos of gameplay and such into the podcast, like an entertainment show. OBS lets you do many things, but it can’t do something so simple as pausing a video being played. Jared can’t see anything I’m broadcasting, real software would let him see everything live while recording. I’d love a control board too, like what a technical director uses. While I’m pleased with the loyal viewer numbers we get, they’re simply too small to justify costs. To get more viewers we need to present in a certain way, to look that way we need certain gear, that gear is only sensible if we have more viewers. Catch-22, unless we bunker down and make free things work to our benefit. Hoping these little short vids help draw in people that wouldn’t normally watch our hour long broadcasts. The fact my son watches hours of gameplay vids also means there’s an untapped audience we could gain.
